Since the closing of Counter Culture, the Wellington Blood Bowl League (Fantasy American football boardgame) has found a home at Waitoa Victoria street. The staff are always super attentive of us and our enjoyment, and recently hosted Saturday night entertainment for our local tournament. We're super lucky to have found Waitoa. Our members have only sung praises for the venue.
The bar staff were so lovely and knowledgeable about the beers. The atmosphere was so good, there was live music and board games you can play. It's just off the main streets so it's not super busy which is perfect. Lisa and Bella, you guys are amazing!! Highly recommend

We did a private function at Waitoa and had the best time! The staff are amazing, the beer is delicious and the bar itself is a lovely space. Super grateful to Waitoa for letting us have such a lovely night there, highly recommend!!

Fantastic spot. Never had a ginger beer this dry and good. Chess on Tuesdays is fantastic a d more places should do this
Nice bar, serving a great range of their beers. Various spirits and wine also available. You can order food from next door, little penang, which is great.
