Dealt with both the young manager and slightly older sales staff member. Found them both extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The manager is very accommodating and patient (I had numerous questions that he helped with). I would highly recommend this store. They even have their own parking which in the city is amazing.”

“First time I have shopped at Placemakers and what a breath of fresh air compared to the utterly hopeless other large format building supply retailers in Porirua. The staff at Placemakers actually know what they are talking about, they are organized, helpful and offer customer service willingly - instead of trying to avoid customers which is what you get from staff at M10 and Bunnings. The drive through actually has room for vehicles - another improvement on the other two hopeless outfits. Placemakers is where I will be spending my DIY shopping in the future. Wish I had gone there years ago.”
