    Palmers Plimmerton is consistently great. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help without hovering, the plants are always healthy, and the range suits local conditions really well. I’ve bought everything from veggie seedlings to shrubs and supplies here and have always had good results. It’s easy to get practical advice if you need it, but also a nice place to browse if you already know what you’re after. Easily one of the better garden centres in the Wellington region.

    Absolutely love Palmers! The environment is beautiful, full of greenery, and very calming from the moment you walk in. Staff are knowledgeable and super friendly — great if you have plant questions or need advice. Even the toilets are clean and well maintained, which says a lot about how they care for the space. The café is a perfect place to rest after browsing. The coffee is excellent, and the muffins are a must-try — soft, sweet, and freshly baked. I also really appreciate that it’s pet-friendly — it’s lovely to see people walking their dogs around. Whether you’re plant shopping, relaxing, or just grabbing a coffee, Palmers is definitely worth visiting!

    Beautifully displayed plants...very inspiring. Great range and helpful staff. A pleasure to shop there. Love that we can take our small dog. Only negative is the extreme heat under the shade sails...but appreciate the plants need protection. Was sweltering outside in the cafe (March) although very pretty with hanging baskets. Purchased a lovely bird bath similar to their display one pictured but in cream and pink, very happy with it. Palmer's Plimmerton is definitely worth a visit.
