I was really impressed with how tidy & clean the whole holiday park was. From the cabin, to the nicely kept toilet & shower block & the spa pool. Was a very convenient & quiet location too
We got a cabin here about a year ago, it was nice, loved it, they helped us out with some vouchers. Kids liked the pools, has a games room and stuff, nothing flash but don't expect that anyway. Good location.
After four weeks in New Zealand the most well-kept place ever. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests. everything was kept clean and tidy. 5 stars plus. complete calm. a great pool. the beach can be reached in three minutes on foot. and it's crazy. The name “cozy corner” fits it perfectly.

This is a fabulous camp ground. So well set up. Sure there isnt many spaces left to park in as there are a lot of cabins and self contained units. Everything is spotless. Beautiful facilities and a nice big pool that is heated using Solar energy. The camp is only open from December through to the end of April but is great. The sea is across the road down a short path and your swimming surfing, fishing. Very secure as entry controlled by security gate. To prove how good it is the man who runs it has been here for a long time as was his father. 1967 it was started. So if you want a spot that is safe for children then this is it. It is also adjacent to a large play area called Moa park. We are about to leave but we will be back i can guarantee that.
The staff is amazing but the accommodation was below what we expected. We stayed on one of the self-contained units and, although they feel roomy and well equipped, the lack of a heat pump really made our experience not as enjoyable as it could have been. Yes it's a camping ground, yes a family of four might not be their demographic but it's 2022. Having air-conditioning is pretty much a given anywhere you stay. Hope they modernise the rooms a bit in the future.
Very well maintained. I would say it's a little over priced but location is fantastic. Pool facilities are wonderful. The Jacuzzi is more of a hottub. Fantastic service and staff. Would have given the other star if the above issues were fixed. They even let me park my motorbike In a more secure location which was impressive.
