Terrible experience. It was very dirty; there was even blood on one of the walls. The refrigerator wouldn't close because of the ice. The drawer with the dishes and everything inside smelled bad. The bed was very uncomfortable, I had a terrible night. and the air conditioning was broken.
The motel was okay as it was a good place to sleep, whilst working in the area. If I was looking for a motel for holiday accommodation, I'm sure there are better options.
No reception as such,once we understood that we were fine with everything. The rooms are spacious,clean and the beds are very comfortable.The motel has a definite Japanese vibe happening,reflected in the furniture and beds
We didnt end up staying in our booked room. We found another nice motel in Tauranga city. The room smelt of mold and mildew, rotten carpet, bed had no blankets, and we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive to let us in. Do not stay here.
Good location close to shops. Reception was locked when we arrived, had to phone no. and wait 20 mins for someone to arrive, even though we had a booking. Very over priced not good value for money, the condition of the unit wasn't the nicest or cleanest, ripped curtain, lack of choice of teas, no hot chocolate, silly little milks. TV switched off mid programme took ages to get it back. Wouldn't stay again, wouldn't recommend.
stayed one night. couldn't sleep next door had head banging music going till 3am .knock on there door no answer. rang the bell at office no answer. went to complain in the morning office doesn't open till 9am. so i left. by the way homeless stay there never stay there again
Jenny is such a one of a kind host, most emergency housing places treat their guests horribly but not Jenny, she helped me and my girls stay in a safe environment until we found our forever home, she was always so kind, helpful and never judgemental. The units really felt like home and Jenny felt like family, I loved her and my kids loved her so much we were actually sad to leave. Sometimes I drive past and I silently thank her for treating us so wonderfully, when you are homeless and needing a safe place to stay this is your safe haven β€ Thankyou Jenny, for being the angel we needed at the most scary time of our lives x
Very clean unit. Nice Asian theme throughout the unit. Wonderful host. Free laundry. I would return again. Thank you for a peaceful quiet night.
Beautiful place. Easy going owners and easy access dont even have to take keys out with you. We had2 connected rooms. Nice and clean and even the court was stunning
Wonderful motel, it is clean & new. The owner Jenny ( & husband) was the nicest person you could ever meet.. So friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, treats you as you are part of their family. Always bringing us clean towels or cleaning unit if needed. I would recommend everyone to stay here... Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.... Look forward to our next stay...
