Location was perfect, everythink down the road. My Daughter had the Best Experience in the pool and she loved how Beautiful our room was. We cant wait to come back
Definitely enjoyed our stay here. We came through for the kapa haka checked in on saturday checked out of monday. The only down fall was the spa was listed on booking website we got there an there was no spa, it was the whole reason for coming here for my dad an his medical stuff but all in all we enjoyed our stay an the workers were very nice & understanding thank you Ryoung & the team for awesome hospitality
Had the accessible unit here. And it was good. This room looks like its been altered to be accessible and its not bad. Even had a sturdy shower stool already in the bathroom. The beds were comfy.
The biggest highlight for us was that our dog was able to stay with us, he loved it. The room was a good size and meeting worked well. The room was quite dated and the bathroom was a bit stinky. Shower pressure was great. Beds were comfortable enough and kitchen facilities good. Unfortunately we had some noisy people in the room above and below us and the rooms aren't very noise proof so this was a bit frustrating, but probably just bad luck on who else was staying. The internet speed was fantastic with no streaming issues at all.
Pretty outdated especially in the kitchen. People (who seemed to be residents) continuing to sit in their car and honk the horn outside the room no matter what time of night it was. Can hear the neighbours talking and shutting doors through the walls. Beds and pillows not the most comfortable in the world. Lighting needs improving! Also advise anyone staying here to make sure your car and room door is locked!
Excellent experience staying with Summit Motor Lodge. Staff cleaned our rooms daily which allowed us to get the full relaxation while on holiday. Rooms had heat pumps and fans to help with the heat which help us out a lot dealing with the humidity. The pool area was absolutely amazing. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an accomodation while staying in Tauranga. 10/10 :-)
We only stayed one night but the room was nice and for a very affordable price. Staff were lovely and the room came equipped with complementary chocolate and biscuits which were a nice touch. Everything was clean and tidy and there's even a pool and a spa pool.
We managed to book a spa room here for 5 and a dog last minute and it was a great accommodation. It is beneficially located maximum 5 mins from the main strip (and if you're in a pinch there is a dairy and petrol station right outside the street), the rooms are nicely furnished and we had bonus access to a pool and hot tub. A great pet friendly motel I definitely reccomend :)
Enjoyed my stay. Was passing through in October 2015. It had just changed owners and the lodge was getting a facelift. Bed Comfy, Room Clean, More than enough space with separate kitchen. And fairly close to everything as long as you have a car. 5min to anywhere. Recommended
