“We signed the contract on the 20th January, council approval came in 3.5 weeks later, council did their inspection report at 9:15 on the 20th Feb, less than 24 hours later we had diggers on our property starting the job. Our backyard went from a sloping patch of grass and dirt to completely recontoured land with retaining walls and a fully completed beautifully landscaped pool all within 6 weeks. Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. If you’re looking at getting a pool with no hassle, efficient workers, minimal council delays then these are your people! Couldn’t be happier. “The Okere river is famed for its kayaking and white water rafting which if you are lucky you’ll be able to watch from some of the view points. Some great scenery and a chance to get close to the water. There are some trails to walk and a decent amount of car parking.”

“Grade 5 whitewater rafting sounds scary enough for a non-confident swimmer, but Kaitiaki Adventures' guides know what they are doing. All gear were provided for. Sam, our guide, made sure all of us were safe and had a lot of fun. The guides took time to teach us how to be respectful of nature. The power of the water and the nature surrounding the river was humbling and breathtaking (give and take a few mouthfuls of water). There are photographers all along the river, taking shots of the different moments. A proud achivement to not just have survived a Grade 5 whitewater rafting, but to have done it with all smiles around and have an exciting adventure that we would continue to talk about. We had FUN!”

“This small island juts out into the sea and has a lovely, shaded walk out to the end. It used to be Leisure Island with a pool, games, rides, etc. but has been recognised as being a special place so is now free of that stuff and more formally called Moturiki. The views back to The Mount (Mauao) and the beach are amazing, especially on a sunny day.”
