“Stayed here for one night at one of their powered RV sites. The pools are clean and feel so nice, especially in cold weather/ rain. Showers are hot, kitchen and laundry room are great. Best Holiday Park we’ve stayed at. Very reasonable prices as well!”

“Came super early but not a problem. The reception lady was lovely and extremely helpful. The unit was handy as I bought a car and trailer. It was clean and tidy, I don't believe the photos on the website do it justice. Much, much better than the lodge I came from. I noticed that they provide meals to truck drivers, as I was working away from home, I asked if I could get tea like the truckies....they obliged. Lovely, lovely place. Will be back next week! Yay..”

“We had a great stay. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful which was appreciated. The security was brilliant with keyed access only and a car park which was undercover and secure. Location was close to shops but far enough away to remove ourselves from the crowds. A leisurely 5 minute stroll down to all the restaurants and bars which was great. 2 min walk to beach - amazing. Thanks for hosting us and see you again soon”

“Super clean and spacious. I stayed in a studio & it had its own private patio out back. The thermal pool was great, the grounds are immaculate. Really friendly and accomadating hosts. Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.”

“I recently visited the Horse and Jockey Inn, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The Room was cosy, which immediately made me feel at home. The food was exceptional! The menu had a great variety of dishes. The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and ensure that I enjoyed my experience. The friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest. “We recently had the pleasure of sharing this beautiful accommodation with friends from two other families, all of us with children. The heated pool and expansive grounds were a fabulous way of keeping the children entertained, and each family had their own space to retreat to away from the shared living areas if they needed to work or some time out. Jenny & Rob are impeccable hosts, who respected our privacy but were also only a message away if we needed them. We will definitely be back to enjoy their hospitality again in the future. Five stars just don't to justice to Te Puna Point Retreat.”

“A great bach to stay in while you are Tauranga. Immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and attention to detail. Refrigerator, toaster and microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, fresh milk, glasses plates and cutlery. Air-conditioning with an internal heatpump and outstanding water pressure in a large hotel like shower. An extremely comfortable bed with high quality cotton sheets and pillowcases. Duvet if you need one. A patio rounds off an excellent cozy and quiet location. Easy communication and entry. Highly recommended and excellent value. 5 stars.”

“Amazing location, amazing hosts, gorgeous character home so close to the beautiful beach and the cafes and shops of downtown Mount. It doesn’t get much better!”

“Honestly, expected this to be some bummy lodge, but it is not. The dorms are the least desirable parts, with thin mattresses, but the bunks have headroom to sit up, and the dorms also have heaters. The bathrooms are fairly open and frigid, the showers only about 5'7" but each toilet/shower has a cubicle and each bathroom has a heater. The shared spaces set this place apart. Piano, table tennis table, fairy lights in the central foyer, barbeques on the deck, and in the lounge, couches and an inviting open fireplace that radiates heat all the way through. There's also a kitchen with all the utensils you would need. Owners are the loveliest people you could meet. Overall, chuffed to stay at this place. Going back again as soon as I can.”
