“I emailed with a hopeful chance that they might accommodate a ride on Christmas day, and was thrilled that they could. Hannah and Kata greeted us and I produced us to our horses. My mother and I are experienced riders, but had never been on Icelandic horses before. We rode along a wetland with black swans, through beautiful pine forests, and along the ocean beach. They were impressive, easily moving through the trails and powerful through the sand. Kata and Hannah even taught us a new gait, the tolt, special to these incredible builds. The speed they could gain on the beach was exhilarating. Definitely not a horse just for kids. Would highly recommend this horse, this route, and this company!”

“Over a two week period I have completed the PG1 and PG2 course then passed my Paramotoring course through Parapro - with Dave. The course exceeded my expectations. Over the two week period I observed that Dave is the most experienced instructor in Christchurch (due to his age and time flying) his mannerism is both calming and reassuring, which made him an awesome instructor. We met wonderful people from around the world. I always find such encounters interesting because the first few minutes are usually pretty formal with hellos, where are you from... and after having a few glasses of wine, we are like old friends having wonderful chats, laughing and we could not stop chatting. “I was very hesitatant to allow my 15month old to self soothe instead of being feed and rocked to sleep before transferring to the crib which we had done since birth. With the help and support of the nursery team at Lumsden kindergarten, allowing my daughter to learn to self soothe was one of the best decisions we have made. After 2 weeks of starting my daughter can be put down in her crib and is asleep within 5 minutes. No tears and she finally sleeps through the night! It was hard at the start of this journey but well worth it. The biggest thank you to the lovely lady's in lumsden kindergarten nursery who reassured me through out our sleep training journey.”

He is positive about what he teaches to all of his students and insures everyone learns the real Taekwon Do in the right way. He is fair and kind and gets to properly know each and one of his students, and motivates them to achieve better and greater things every training. Ben uses a range of different training methods and improves each training by evaluating what went well the previous sessions, and implementing the success into future ones, so that they are all enjoyable no one training is the same.
