   I was very hesitatant to allow my 15month old to self soothe instead of being feed and rocked to sleep before transferring to the crib which we had done since birth. With the help and support of the nursery team at Lumsden kindergarten, allowing my daughter to learn to self soothe was one of the best decisions we have made. After 2 weeks of starting my daughter can be put down in her crib and is asleep within 5 minutes. No tears and she finally sleeps through the night! It was hard at the start of this journey but well worth it. The biggest thank you to the lovely lady's in lumsden kindergarten nursery who reassured me through out our sleep training journey.

   We strongly recommend Lumsden and we feel so lucky that we were able to send our daughter there. The teachers at Lumsden work hard to foster independence and celebrate cultural diversity. The owner, Rakelle, is a passionate teacher who clearly loves her job. Rakelle's positivity and enthusiasm is reflected in every teacher that works there. Absolutely amazing centre!

   We absolutely love Lumsden for our little girl. When we found out our daughter had a condition that may need some extra attention, we were recommended to visit Lumsden for their nurturing and positive environment. We are so pleased we sent Elodie to Lumsden - she absolutely loves it and the development we see in her is amazing. We feel there is the perfect mix of fun/play and learning/development. We wouldn’t take her anywhere else!

   I'm so grateful to have found Lumsden Kindergarten for my daughter. As a new migrant to New Zealand, I was worried about her adjusting to a new environment, but Rakelle and the teachers have been absolutely amazing. They've made her feel welcome and included, and their teaching methods are lovely and engaging. I've seen such a positive change in her since she started attending, and I credit that to the kindergarten's wonderful staff and approach. Highly recommend!"

   We’ve had our son here since he was 6 months old and this kindergarten is his second home with his Kaiako helping raise an independent, intelligent and in tune boy. I’ve been blown away with how much he’s developed and learnt while here. You know it’s a wonderful place when he’s running into the doors yelling BYE MUM because he’s so excited to get there everyday :)

   Certainly our KinderGarten of choice. Moving here from Auckland 4 and a half years ago was daunting enough without finding the right place for our little man. We tried a couple of places before friends recommended Lumsden. Best decision ever. He has gone off to school this year equipped for the next step and we have been confident at his progress throughout the journey at Lumsden. Our little girl is half way through her time there now too and has another couple of years to go. We have got to know the team over the years and would recommend Lumsden any day of the week. Thanks team.

   Chelsea has been a huge support with my 4 month old daughter who is having trouble sleeping and taking the bottle. She has given me the right tips and techniques to help with this and she is always a pleasure to deal with. I have really appreciated the help and support! I would highly recommend Lumsden for your children. Lovely and nurturing to all the children.
