“Leaving our lab with Cecilia & team was a smooth and easy process, giving us peace and mind during Lulu’s recovery. Lulu recently had a TPLO, and we were unable to care for her on the property. She’s been with The Doggery for the last 8-weeks. During this time they’ve cared for her remarkably well, helping her heal, with weight loss, kept on top of her medications, facilitated vet trips all the way to Franklin(!), and provided clear/concise updates on the wellbeing of Lulu. We could not have asked for a more effective recovery facility, and definitely know she was loved the entire time.”

“Sam and the team are literally the best groomers in town! Not only do they do an excellent job, they give the dogs such care and attention. This company truly loves dogs. My dog was very anxious after having had a bad experience at a previous groomers. Now my dog is anxiety free when she gets groomed. My doggie can even hangout afterwards and play with the other dogs, if I can’t get there in time to pick her up immediately afterwards. Sam’s knowledge of dogs and their wellbeing is vast. Do yourself a favour and give Fur-b-luscious a go. Your dog will love you for it!”

“I went there to get my covid19 vaccine booster shot on Fri afternoon, they were so patient going throught my options with me. Really kind and showed their care to make sure I choose the right option. While I was sitting there for my 15min observation time, I saw other customers came in and I think they know everyone by name. What a great service and you really feel like you are a family to them.”

“We stayed for just 1 night and it was really amazing. Qi is super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. Bedroom had a kettle and mini fridge available for use. Slippers, toothbrush and conditioner shampoo were also included. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. Definitely worth it!”

“We were referred to Dr. Debbie and the team at The Skin Vet because my dog Norman decided to make a spontaneous career change to “diver of lost and unknown sticks,” which got us into a bit of a tricky predicament. Thanks to his dive into yucky water, he ended up with two bacterial ear infections. One was cleared by our vet, but despite four sedated ear flushes every two weeks, they couldn’t get rid of the second infection using antibiotic ear drops due to a ruptured eardrum. After dealing with the infection for a good three months, Debbie and Ellie managed to create a safe concoction—and two weeks later, at his check-up, it was all clear! I’m so thankful for such a talented team. They managed my difficult dog like absolute pros and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the result.”

“Having just spent the weekend at Quail Lodge with my Mum, I simply can't give it a high enough rating! Starting with the warm welcome, the kindness that hosts Sam and Hamish showed was second to none. The accommodation was superb and it felt like we'd been wrapped up in a luxurious big hug. The food was exceptional, Sam is an incredible cook and nothing was too much trouble. Everything including the beautiful location and scenery was truly a memorable and lasting experience. “This was our first time at Waiheke Island we loved every day we stayed. One O One cabins was beautiful & peaceful the cabin was equipped with all you needed clean and modern. A sunny spot listening to the Tui each morning. Our only tip would be, be aware of all steps as it is a climb if you struggle with going up and down. Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“Can’t recommend Marino Ridge enough! Caroline and Peter are amazing hosts. They’re very knowledgeable about life on Waiheke Island and gave us lots of helpful recs for our whole trip through New Zealand. Marino Ridge has incredible views in all directions and the rooms are very comfortable. It’s a great location, with easy access to the ferry, hiking trails, and Oneroa Village.”

“Shyam is the best Pharmacist I have ever met. I am blessed to be living literally 60m from his chemist. He is kind, patient, empathetic, transparent, warm welcoming,friendly, understanding and the epitome of professionalism. His staff are testimony to that. I have only moved to the area 6mths now and everytime I have visited the pharmacy, customers know him by name and vice versa. Customers that I KNOW would have been judged or looked down upon by other chemists. Above all else he treats customers with RESPECT. Walk 30m or so to the next chemist and I can gaurantee you will have a vastly different experience to say the least.”
