“Had an amazing evening celebrating my mother's 60th birthday last month. The manager is welcoming and easy to communicate with. The venue is perfect if you live or work in the Eastern suburbs. Hiring is most affordable and there's an option to cater your own. The staff are very helpful and made our night so much easier. A big thank you to Megan for looking after us. You are a rockstar!!”

“Since John took over, this pub has gone from strength to strength. He's added so many features (doggy biscuits and beers, kids play area, lots of board games, weekly food trucks, weekly quizzes) that have made it not only a family friendly, local pub, but also a destination. Offering some amazing beers, wonderful staff will take you into their care and ensure you can kick back and relax. Dog friendly, kid friendly, social team friendly, it really does offer do much! “One of my favourite Lower Hutt beaches, a long sandy waterfront. There is a concrete path and low concrete wall between the free street side car parking off the roadway. There is a small short sand dune which is where birds nest and there are bunny tails and other plants growing along there.”

“Me and my family come by every so often. The food is always good and the staff are lovely. They've got a good range of drinks and desserts as well, although for the most part we stick to the dinner menu. Highly Recommend”

“The staff here are amazing, we were helped by Katherine. We are based in Auckland and were searching for an animal rocker to gift to family in wellington. These were not available online so we had to get in person. Knowing we were flying to wellington she held the rocker for a week and even sent us pictures of it via email to confirm it was the model we wanted. It was the only one left im the country. When we visited she still let us check we were happy to purchase and gave us a gift exchange reciept. Its the best customer service we had experienced over the phone and in person. Thanks”

“One of the nicest places in the city for Sunday high tea brunch. French creperie with multiple choices of both sweet and sour French crepes, including some vegan options. There are plenty of suggested options, but you can also go wild and create your own one. Crepes are really amazing, very tasty, good size portions and amazing taste. It’s really great that there is vegan options available, made of buckwheat. If you have not enough of sugar you can finish with a great desert selection. Coffee is slightly bitter and not the best blend , but tea selection is perfect.”

“Zachary is a weapon at finding the right jeans fit. If you are vertically challenged and have gym legs, ask the tall guy what jeans are the best. Also, the greet upon entry was a solid welcoming.”

“We went to The Old Leithfield Hotel for dinner on a busy Saturday night (super rugby final) with our 5 month old baby. Even though we didn't have a booking the friendly wait staff went out of their way to accommodate us and made sure we were comfortable. We both had the roast which was generous and delicious. The beef was tender and the veges perfect it was the best pub experience with a young baby, and the best roast beef. We also had the salt and pepper squid entree which was fantastic. Perfectly tender and crispy! Thank you very much to the team at The Old Leithfield Hotel.”

“Great coffee and a place to do some laptop work. There are plenty of seats as the cafe is technically a hall. It is huge. The cafe is part of the event center but at the same time works as a separate entity. I will return more often to do digital work online and have great coffee in the future. This was my first time here today.”
