Come here for the occasional good coffee-Cappuccino. Love the atmosphere and decor. Staff are super friendly.
We are new to this place. Wasn't busy. We weren't greeted, So We weren't sure if we need to wait to be seated. Or just find a table to sit down. We weren't sure if we ordered at the payment counter or wait for someone to come over? There were no signs to say what to do. Very confusing. Food arrived very quickly, the meals were excellent. Burgers tasted so good we ordered another one. Toliets were very clean and service was okay. Thank you for the very tasty meal.
Staff was friendly and food taste great!! Love the curly fries and burger! Mum and dad loved their toastie and chicken! Prices are just right.
By FAR the best burgers and buttermilk fried chicken in Hawke's Bay - it's not even close. I would say "best in all of New Zealand"... but I haven't eaten all the burgers in New Zealand. Yet. Breakfast options are off the hook. 10/10 - you're a fool if you don't visit. Get the Classic, add bacon. Or the Buffalo Chicken burger. Or both - you only live once, right?
Honestly just great food, it was hard to choose what to order because everything on the menu sounded yum! And what showed up did not disappoint! Great spot for a family friendly lunch with the milkshake range heroing rather than the alcohol (though drinks are available).
Awesome food selection, can't go wrong with chicken and bacon waffles! I was very tempted to get a milkshake but couldn't fit it in. Also great selection of craft beers available
Lovely staff, friendly and nice service - lovely relaxed vibe. The waffles though - soft, fairly egg-y mixture - definitely dont expect a belgian waffle - nothing crunchy here - all soft. Think pancake cooked in a waffle iron. :-((((( Coffee is average - and a large would be shy of a 9 oz cup. Shame - because it seems and feels a lovely spot.
My favorite place so far! Seriously good food. Great service! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Such a hidden gem! My Buttermilk Chicken burger was thick, meaty, tasty, juicy, crunchy and soooo fresh. Carr's NAILED it with this one and very reasonably priced! They serve a great side of curly fries (American food done well for once) plus local craft beers and all the food came out super fast! Thank you for a great feed, will def be back again!
