When I do have to go in to the store and I’ve given them a heads-up, one of them will even run out to the street with my purchases so I don’t have to force my autistic son out of the car. “Had the loveliest experience at Lorna Jane Riccarton today. I called in feeling a bit insecure, but was answered with so much kindness and encouraged to come in anyway. The two women on shift around 11am were incredible — they spent over an hour helping me find pieces that made me feel confident and cosy for winter. We had a wonderful experience, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the nurse who administered our vaccines. I’m truly sorry and a little regretful that I didn’t get her name—but she is, by far, the best nurse I’ve ever met. My daughter has always been very afraid of injections, and today she was extremely anxious. But this nurse showed extraordinary patience and used incredibly effective techniques to guide my daughter through the process smoothly. “After reading some of the appalling reviews I had to leave something positive. The staff here are always pleasant and the lady behind the counter in particular is always friendly, and has been for the past few years I've been coming here. It has a lot of the things we might need without having to go further to the supermarket, and I've never once witnessed any even remotely negative behaviour by any of the staff. The prices are slightly higher than the supermarket conglomerate but exactly what you'd expect from a local superette. Never once had an issue with anything we've bought or any of the people working here.”

“Needed a couple of random little plumbing bits for work, knew this place would have everything we needed and after a bit of rummaging managed to find exactly what we needed. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. “I was skeptical at first when purchasing from this website as there are many bad reviews and the site does have limited contact info. I ordered a product I wanted to change so attempted calling the 0800 number which was surprisingly answered by a good old kiwi bloke! I asked if my product could be changed which he happily agreed to and got this sent out the next morning and arrived to me within the week. I didnt get a proper invoice but honestly I think this guys just trying to get by and may not be super tech savvy!! Give him a break! Maybe some peoples ordered items dont arrive but I had a very good experience with this company and would shop there again.Thanks USA foods! =)”
