“This is my new go to fish and chip shop. Fish of the day and hoki both at $3, an affordable add on to any combo (also reasonably priced). The fish batter was light and fresh, not too oily. The chips were nice and crispy. You can add your choice of salt. The burger was also delicious. I opted for the trevally raw fish and it was 10/10. Tons of parking, and ample space to dine in. Would highly recommend this spot.”

“The food here is always very very good, typically I would order a large roast pork meal and everything tastes very good. Good temperature and fresh ingredients. Just be mindful though, it says they are open until 9pm but this is probably not accurate. Last time I went there at 8.15pm and they were already getting ready to close up the shop, they were no longer serving food anymore and I was unable to order anything. That would be my only complaint though, aside from this the food was always very good quality!”

“The interior design and layout is so nice. It made me feel like I was in China. A variety of different things to put in your soup. I love the soup, it was so delicious. The lamb and beef skewers were nice. I love the chilli oil you guys have, it tasted absolutely amazing. The ice cream was good too, wish there was other choices though. The staff were friendly and always willing to check up on you and give you a hand. I want to come back again, but it is a bit expensive though. However, I think the quality of food here is really good so hopefully one day I will come back. Highly recommend this place for good quality foods and perfect for winter. Thank you!”

“Love the place. My one stop for all my Fiji food. Huge variety of frozen and fresh food, all reasonably priced. Spices for those Indian dishes and the other bits and pieces to fill the pantry. The owners are really helpful also. Few parking spaces outside and heaps of street parking.”

“The strata lounge with China airlines (also others) in Auckland airport is spacious and well maintained above my expectations. The five or six shower rooms are extra large and spacious and variety of foods is provided. Perfect choice for short stay before long hour flights. Best choice in NZ airport”

I ordered the **Hainanese Chicken on Rice** and the **Banana Prawn Laksa**, and both dishes were outstanding. The **Hainanese Chicken on Rice** was a standout – the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, perfectly paired with fragrant rice cooked in chicken broth. The accompanying sauces (ginger, chili, and soy) added layers of flavor that made every bite a delight. It’s a simple dish, but Langkawi executed it flawlessly. The **Banana Prawn Laksa** was equally impressive. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with a beautiful balance of spicy, sweet, and tangy flavors. The prawns were fresh and succulent, and the noodles had the perfect texture. Every spoonful was a comforting explosion of taste – it’s easily one of the best laksas I’ve had in Auckland. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was thoughtful, making the meal feel special. The restaurant itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re craving authentic Malaysian cuisine, Langkawi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes from their menu. “Consistently good customer service and food here. It's my first choice for pizza here in Auckland. Pizzas that I have had from here have always been cooked properly no oily base or sogginess lack of cheese or toppings. You'll have to try to see what I mean. They have a good range of pizzas to choose from and usually with every order I get the cheesy garlic bread which hits the spot every time, and chippies are delicious too.”
