We love Indian cuisine chicken tikka masala and butter naan India gate restaurant, offers a unique twist with new and interesting dishes. We tried both the buffet and the à la carte menu.both were excellent and did not disappoint. Great flavours, great value.definitely a fantastic deal…
The dishes were extremely salty when I spoke to the manager he replies “sorry can’t do anything ask a refund from uber eats” India Gate makes the food and Uber eats has to refund. What a joke. This attitude is bad and this Resturant should be barded not starred. To the owner please advise your manager to handle unhappy customers in a better way before you realise you need better ways to save your unhappy customers. Thank you.
Happened across this place for lunch in downtown Dunedin. $10 lunch special and the food was spectacular. Service was great and didn't have to wait long for the food to be served. Would highly recommend this place. Great value.
First time dine in here. Above average food for reasonable price. Kadai chicken was good. Mix platter starter was really big size but samosa was not upto mark.
Well, it was another special day in my life! Thought to have an Indian Tasty food. When I did Google search, found this restaurant. Visited yesterday during evening. The restaurant seems more clean, and tidy. Atmosphere is cheerful! Background music was amazing, playing some Bollywood songs. When it comes to order, I ordered Samosa, and chai first. Well, I never had this kind of samosa overseas. It's amazing. Totally, tasty. We can say, "paisa vasul". Chai is not that much amazing, I found more waterry. Further, ordered dal makhani, and rice with naan. Well, dall gave a taste Punjab. Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Worth to visit once.
Hadn't been in some time, but I got lunch here last week. Very tasty, I need to start coming back more regularly
The hours posted are wrong because they definitely close between 2:30 and 5 but we went back at 5 and the three of us ordered the maharaja banquet and it was fantastic! So good we wanted to go back and have the exact same thing the next day!
Curry is what you need to keep warm during a cold day. You can ask for milder spiciness. Food is great but the place needs to be spruced up. Indian carpets and better lighting will be good.
Fantastic service and great food. Guy at the counter saw my elderly mother limping and got her a chair to rest her leg which was very nice. Very impressed by the prices too will definitely be returning
Nice food. Great customer service.Nice cozy place. Good for a quick bite dining in or takeaway. Reasonably priced and easy to find place. No added colors which is a plus. Nice big size naan and good quantity of currys.
