“Lovely atmosphere on the corner across from the St David lecture theatre. Loved my matcha latte. Use the brand Alternative for their alty milks. Small cabinet of lovely fresh cakes. Peaceful inside even though it's on a busy street.”
“The welcome genuine and my custom felt appreciated. I'm particularly fussy about my fried rice. The chicken fried rice was excellent!”
“Everything I'd expect from the standardized Countdown experience. Generally very good and no complaints. It's very hard to find a member of staff here, except at checkout. Sometimes annoying and maybe due to the seemingly larger floor space. Always really good though.”
“I definitely loved this place, the food is amazing, the staffs are nice and they have live music.”
“Great homemade coffee food and salad in a relaxed peaceful setting. Thank you to the barista for being so kind and generous to my elderly father.”
“Nice place with a good view of the clock tower (other than a little blockage from the tree). Coffee is good and the food selection looks nice.”
“We always come here to have brunch every Saturday. Always serving good food and has a chill vibe. Highly recommended!”
“We had my son Lincoln’s birthday party there this afternoon, and the customer service was amazing! Nothing was a problem, I was anxious as it was my first time having a party there and they were so amazing and sorted everything I asked for with a smile on their face! Will forever recommend them as a party place from now on. Thanks team ☺️”
“Husband and I normally stop past for a pie or icecream but today we were surprised by the most perfect burger. Other then the unexpected egg dribble it was perfect to the last bite. Defently an awesome group of staff with polite friendly service and never a fault in the food.”
“Most Amazing staff today, 2 people helped me to my car to unload groceries as I had two little girls in tow. It was bucketing down with rain & I’m just so grateful for this kind service. Thanks a million :)”
“Great selection at great prices”
“Fantastic customer service when i went in to ask for non-alcoholic beer and some suggestions for a local beer brewer. Can’t recommend better for the helpfulness and assistance, recommend this place to locals and travellers alike, i will be back!!!!”
“Lots of different RTD's available, heaps of different flavours - good specials”
“It's got a nice garage theme, but not uncomfortably. Tyre tread on walls, giant screw driver, nice mechanic theme. It's quite unique.”
“Every thing you need is here. Lovely staff”
“My "Go-To" spot every morning in the way to walk my kuri. Staff are so welcoming and friendly ☺️.”
“A great place to break a journey. Super friendly staff. And if you’re peckish you will not regret trying their amazing bacon and cheese hash browns. Loads of parking too.”
“I feel that this cafe offers the best food in town with the most affordable price. Located in the busy Wall Street Mall, it's a convenient place to have your lunch or tea/coffee break from your shopping. They also have a selection of cabinet food and fresh salads, even fantastic sweet treats. The cafe also has a shop that sells gourmet food, drink and kitchenwares. We always enjoy having lunch here. It has a very clean ambiance and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My favourite food to have here is either fish and chips or beef pasties with salad. You don't normally need to wait long for your food and drink to arrive. It can be a bit noisy since it's very popular among locals. But it's still my favourite place for lunch if I am around Wall Street or Meridian Mall. It's highly recommended if you are in town shopping with friends and want to have a spot of tea or lunch.”
“It is very friendly place to go with friends. I recommend to drink coffee here in the morning. Because it was very soft feeling to me..haha..”
“Not sure if they have food. I just got some Japanese from across the road and ate it in the garden bar. This pub has been in the news a bit. It is what it is man. Good pokies. Tradies in bare feet drinking Steiny big bots from the bottle. Old drunks, the whole nine yards. Think Once Were Warriors, but whiter.”
“A lovely local pub meal. The pan fried blue cod was outstanding and hubby's snitzel definitely hit the spot. A calm atmosphere. Would highly recommend.”
