“Had the loveliest service when we popped in with a bunch of children today - one of the staff generously offering us all plenty of things to taste, and even opening a packet of chocolates for our kids to try. The prices on some items were so great, and we walked out with a delicious haul - the service and the pastries were excellent!”
“The staff were very kind to me. You cannot park your car in front of the store, but there is street parking available nearby.”
“It’s always a pleasure to visit this space full of Latin flavour and warmth. I love the variety of Latin American products they offer, especially Rosamonte yerba mate, my favourite! The service is always friendly and attentive, taking the time not just to sell products, but to celebrate and share our Latin culture through events, markets, and gatherings that make us feel at home. A true meeting point for our community in Aotearoa. Thank you for everything!”
“Always such easy ordering and delivery of this amazing coffee!!”
“OSSEWA BILTONG IS AMAZING!! I travel about an hour from the shore to Takanini for the Red wine and garlic biltong. If your like me and prefer wet over the drier stuff, they always have a few fresh bars under the counter if you just ask.”
“The restaurant Troy completely exceeded my expectations! The chef truly deserves special praise. The service in the Restaurant was friendly and professional I feel very welcome there. This is genuine à la carte dining at a high level, with fair prices and absolutely no compromises on quality.”
“Really tasty food, well balanced flavours. Love the ratio of meat, rice and salad. My partner doesn't eat salad so I happily had his share. So glad they had a pop up at Smales Farm but wished they could stay longer. The spaghetti and chicken was tasty too! Highly recommend the adobo, lechon and inasal.”
“Finely crafted food and a great selection of umeshu from Japan. The contemporary styled Japanese inspired dining really worked well. One bite into each dish was delightful marriage of flavours. It is obvious to me the chef had put much thought and really crafted each dish to perfection, the delicious, umami flavours, tantalizing all the taste buds. But my highlight of the night had to be the maître d offering us some newly imported umeshu from Japanese at the end. The icing on the cake for a truly delightful dining experience”
“Incredible meal and lovely night out. The service was superb, and food amazing. Considering we had 14 (I think?) courses, what was nice was having the space to feel like relaxed at dinner. We have done plenty of tasting menu's and sometimes you feel like you can't have a conversation without someone popping over and interrupting with something. It can't be easy to get the balance right on this! Wine menu also great, not the biggest selection - they probably don't have the storage space - but they were all super interesting and we enjoyed trying the tasting flight. We were asked what out favourite dish was and it was impossible to pick - it was all delicious.”
“We’ve always enjoyed the high-quality, convenient daytime meals at Sushil’s Musclechef, but our first evening dining experience was something genuinely special. The evening service offers a more intimate and refined atmosphere, paired with a thoughtful menu that highlights Sushil’s unique culinary identity—blending cultural heritage and modern flavour in a way that feels deeply personal and original. We started with the pumpkin soup with coconut, rich and comforting, and the smoked chicken Caesar salad, fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The mains were outstanding: the braised lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender, infused with bold, soulful flavour, while the market fish was perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned. Dessert was a highlight—the chocolate fondant, with its warm molten centre and vanilla bean ice cream, was pure indulgence. We ended the night with extra hot oat flat whites, smooth and perfectly made. While the daytime menu brings quality and convenience, the evening experience feels crafted, personal, and elevated—a reflection of Sushil’s passion for food and hospitality. His presence and care make all the difference. A special experience worth repeating. We’ll definitely be back. A true local gem. Lalo Fiso”

“Fantastic local brewery with awesome beer, staff and atmosphere. Best of all they are dog welcoming. Treats and all. In dog we trust.”
“AMAZING service! I made an inquiry 2 days ago and have had my custom made order arrive in another part of the country within 48 hours. Great prompt communication and the cake topper I ordered looks incredible. Well priced for a custom made item. Highly recommend Little Monkey NZ and Lynley and Joel.”
“A lovely and relaxed place to enjoy a freshly made breakfast (or lunch). There's wooden tables, a home-like atmosphere and friendly service. The owner even gave me some cherry guavas from his garden when I was wondering about what was the fruit on my omelette. He said they're open till about 2.30pm on Saturdays, so a nice place to grab a lazy brunch.”
“Best Cafe on Waiheke Island! What an amazing place. Great Food, superb drinks, lovely atmosphere. I tried the new smoothies - absolutely amazing…so full of flavour and healthy!”
“Had a small family dinner for the five of us. We love pasta as a family and I cook pretty decent pastas myself with homemade sauce. This was out of this world. Particular loved the October special and the three meat ragu.”
“Wowzers! This is my first visit, I bought the double pattie, cheese, bacon burger, got some "lit" sauce and Aoli sauce, This was the best burger that I hav ever had in living memory! I will be back to try the other burgers rest assured.”
“Crazy Sushi is my go to number 1 lunch spot! The sushi is so good, tasty and flavourful (my favourite is the tuna - but get in quick because they’re usually all gone by 12pm!) and Angela is the absolute best - her superstar customer service and smile never goes un-noticed. As a regular she always remembers my order, even down to the extra soy sauce packet which sets crazy sushi apart from the rest. Would definitely recommend crazy sushi!”
“We came to Devonport for a day trip and had a late lunch at Devonport Indian Hub. The staff greeted us warmly and even entertained our kids with snacks and balloons, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered the deal of 4 dishes for only $75, and it was great value as wecwere 4 adults with 2 kids. Their customer service is outstanding, and the team is very friendly. They even let our kids play around, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We loved the people here and highly recommend this place!”
“100% Vegetarian! Adored this wee family run Persian Cafe! The atmosphere is so cozy. I had a solo work lunch here and ordered their Pirashki and a Napoleon. Pirashki is a Persian pastry! It’s a mini pie type dish filled with tasty lentils. The Napoleon is a cream and flaky pastry ‘cake’ slice! Very classic and it was delicious. I can’t wait to come back here to have a proper meal!”
“Simply the best restaurant I have been to, food was beautiful both in taste and visually. The story made it a much fuller experience, with even the music chosen to supplement this. Waiters were also fabulous. Booked to return the same evening, just a shame we have to wait until April, can’t wait for the next tale and food journey!”
“This is a amazing restaurant. The food is top notch and great size servings.”
“Another fantastic Sushi Platter from Tornado Sushi, to help us celebrate our annual O'Hanami (Sakura Blossom viewing) dinner. Lee's dishes are still as delicious as when I first ate his Sushi 31 years ago. Thank you”
“I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts a tantalizing array of authentic Arabic kababs and a diverse selection of other mouthwatering dishes that truly transport your taste buds to the heart of the Middle East. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the kababs; they were perfectly seasoned and the meat was grilled to perfection, offering a blend of flavors and tenderness that was simply exceptional. Each bite was a journey through the rich culinary traditions of the region, leaving me craving more. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is not just the delectable food but also the impeccable service and the warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make your dining experience memorable. They are more than willing to offer recommendations and provide insights into the menu, making even newcomers feel right at home.”

We often visit for lunch, and every time we are greeted with wonderful service and even better food - this dinner was something extra special though! Merry Christmas and we'll see you again soon!”
“This was by far one of the BEST BURGERS I've had in years. Just the most juicy, delicious & tasty burger and for about the same price price as a normal crappy burger from a burger chain. Do yourself and your tastebuds a massive favour and make a stop at Phat Burger! Excellent value!”
