We were treated to a beautiful authentic French four course dinner last week and it was simply superb! We often visit for lunch, and every time we are greeted with wonderful service and even better food - this dinner was something extra special though! Merry Christmas and we'll see you again soon!
Tried the Nutella Banana waffle at Le Rendez-Vous in Hamilton today and it was absolutely incredible. Owned by a lovely French family, this place brings real authentic charm and flavours. The waffle was light and crispy, topped generously with creamy Nutella and fresh, sweet banana. Easily the most amazing Nutella banana waffle I’ve ever had – highly recommend!
I love blue cheese and the Bleu Sensation really hit the spot! Also tried it with extra chorizo, and it was a god-sent. Wife had Mon Doux Canard, and the duck was so tendered accompanied with tasty cheese. The dessert was great too; Maple Cinnamon with generous pieces of pear and walnuts, and a Dubai special that married kadaifi, pistachio and choc jam perfectly.
Great little lunch spot that serves galettes, crepes and waffles. Got the lunch special which to be honest is a great lunch deal for $20. Food all made fresh to order and enjoyed the simple but tasty lunch. Not a big place so place is really suited for groups of 2-4. Came in late into lunch so had no problems getting a seat.
A hidden gem for crêpe lovers! Le Rendez-vous café-crêperie seriously impressed with their savory buckwheat galettes. I went for the smoked salmon with avocado — and wow. The crêpe was crisp on the edges, tender inside, with that nutty buckwheat flavour that pairs beautifully with the rich, silky salmon and creamy avocado. Light yet so satisfying. It felt healthy, fresh, and indulgent all at once — the kind of dish that makes you pause between bites just to enjoy the balance of flavours. Every element was spot-on, from the seasoning to the portion size. The café itself gives off cozy French vibes, the staff are welcoming, and the whole menu looks like a foodie dream. Can’t wait to come back and try the sweet crêpes next time. Highly recommend if you love clean, flavour-forward food done right!!
A gem in hamilton - both their savoury and sweet crepes slap. High quality, fast and friendly service, crepes with amazing texture and amazing toppings. It’s my go-too, only wished they wouldn’t close so early!
It was the best waffle I ever tried. Love it!! But I had to wait sooooo long. Absolutely will come again, but I hope it won't be long waiting. Fortunately, the owner was so friendly.

Exquisite!! I loved the taste of their dishes. The attention is excellent, very friendly and attentive. My family and I went so each one asked for something different and everything was delicious. The desserts they have in the display case are divine, I'll be back for sure.
Nice little café. Good front of house service. 2 savory crepe plates were over cooked giving the crepes a chared flavor, sweet crepe was nicely done. Tables we sat at and floor were sticky. Street noise is pretty loud, making the atmosphere inside awkward at times.
