Incredible meal and lovely night out. The service was superb, and food amazing. Considering we had 14 (I think?) courses, what was nice was having the space to feel like relaxed at dinner. We have done plenty of tasting menu's and sometimes you feel like you can't have a conversation without someone popping over and interrupting with something. It can't be easy to get the balance right on this! Wine menu also great, not the biggest selection - they probably don't have the storage space - but they were all super interesting and we enjoyed trying the tasting flight. We were asked what out favourite dish was and it was impossible to pick - it was all delicious.

Wonderful place. Very small and intimate. Husband and wife started this beautiful restaurant and the rest of the team are amazing. The place works with perfect precision yet every so often, you see someone dancing to a song they like as they prep your dish. Worth every penny and then some. If you are a foodie, this is your place.

Passionate owners and staff that are interested in providing fresh local produce with innovative menus. This is a dining experience not to miss. Graze is amazing …

A cozy and quaint wine bar with a unique menu of tasty small plates. An extensive blackboard menu of bold and unsuspecting flavour combos made it difficult to decide what to order because everything looked so tasty. With an even more extensive wine list, this restaurant is a wine lovers haven. The food was on the pricier side for the portion sizes, but everything was very tasty. I would recommend the Smoked Fish Tostada and the Pretzels, both dishes were showstoppingly delicious. A memorable evening of tasty pescatarian food in a comforting atmosphere.

A simply exceptional dining experience. We did the "full shebang" tasting of every item on the menu (it really was every item!) and thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The cured kahawai tarts, paua patty melt and pierogi were probably the standouts amongst an impressive and satisfying lineup. We appreciated the pescatarian, locally sourced and minimal waste ethos. The pacing was excellent - not too fast or slow. The overall quantity of food was also perfect - we were satiated but not uncomfortably full by the end! Their wine by the glass menu is also phenomenal. The chef's table experience definitely elevated the experience even further, and we enjoyed the opportunity to see the dishes being created for us. Max, the head chef, was also very personable and his passion for the food shows. The rest of the team were also all warm and friendly but without being intrusive. Would highly recommend and readily return to. A big thank you to Max and the rest of the team!

Had the tasting menu. Max and his team were incredibly hospitable and this was the best meal I’ve had in Wellington…which is saying something.

Had a wonderful meal on Friday evening. Booked the early dining session, the staff were attentive and told us everything about the meal. We shared the dishes and had the Butterfish, Paua sandwiches and the Gnocchi with the cheese board to finish. Food was superb and flavorsome. Dishes were between $20-$30 each and you could see they were made with love. Even when the place started to get busy, the wait staff were on to it.

Brilliant little wine bar that emphasises intimate service and sustainability. Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan. Also plenty of low and no alcohol options for drink. Afternoon service is nice if you want to spend time chatting with the chefs.

If you are looking for a uniquely Wellington experience with a world class chef you will be lucky to have a meal at Graze Wine Bar. All local New Zealand products including the charcoal used in the grill to make the most delicious butterfish you could imagine. Every dish was presented with beauty and thought with every ingredient. The wines were carefully selected and the cocktails were unusual as well as delicious! If you can book at the Chef’s counter you will have a front row seat to watch creations coming out of the kitchen and learn about where the ingredients are sourced and how some of the magic happens. This is truly an undiscovered gem. You can combine it with a cable car ride from Lambton quay and an 8 minute walk! If I could give more than five stars I would!

Come here if you want to try some new flavours and unique food! Go for their Snack Attack ($25pp) where the chef prepares 5 different dishes for you and friends to share. Then you might want to order one more larger dish to finish off. All up spent $188 for 4 people.
