The restaurant is located down an alleyway off Lambton Quay, it’s quite easy to walk past the sign without noticing it if you’re not paying too much attention. The food was delicious and authentic. The owners were also very nice and hospitable. Great experience.
100% Vegetarian! Adored this wee family run Persian Cafe! The atmosphere is so cozy. I had a solo work lunch here and ordered their Pirashki and a Napoleon. Pirashki is a Persian pastry! It’s a mini pie type dish filled with tasty lentils. The Napoleon is a cream and flaky pastry ‘cake’ slice! Very classic and it was delicious. I can’t wait to come back here to have a proper meal!
Beautiful home cooking, generous portions, served with kindness from the owners Ahmad and Mojgan. Everything is fresh and authentic as Mojgan cooks and bakes all the food. I am so glad I discovered this cozy, warm cafe during my recent visit to Wellington. Take away is also available, the photos were taken at my accommodation.
Passion and skill make this little place on Lambton Quay a must visit. All food cooked and baked with love, to offer Persian kitchen to Wellingtonians. And a great coffee to go with it. You will feel very welcomed!
An authentic Persian family-run cafe in the heart of Wellington. The owners are very kind & friendly and make you feel warmly welcomed. The food is delicious and bring new flavours from the old world (Persia) to Aotearoa ❤️ We had Bandari sandwich, kuku sandwich (vegetarian), and Ash (vegetarian) for lunch, as well as Halwa and cocolate cake for dessert. We will come back for sure!

It's recommended to try their desserts and food.
I just visited the Persian café, and it was an absolute delight! I tried both the sausage sandwich and baklava, and I must say, both were amazing. The baklava was soft and had a wonderful taste and it matched perfectly with a cup of tea. The same with the sausage sandwich. The owners were also very welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this cosy café!
A great little family-owned cafe just off of Lambton Quay. Authentic Persian food. A great selection of Persian treats and a good spot for coffee. Very convenient location in the CBD
