“A must visit place!!!! Best coffee ive tasted. Love the coffee aroma once you entered the store. We ordered the Boss breakfast and the pancake. They are Very generous and i have nothing to say about the presentation. To add to that, The staff are so friendly too. You also dont have to worry about the parking space.”

“Love this store . Its like a temu shop i always find items that I didn't realize I needed. It's not just a food market it offers nifty storage options at reasonable prices, bathroom items, make up, some great looking crockery with really cool designs, they have hair care, skin care , stationery, stickers and a lot more . The food market side of this shop offers great selection of items, Great pricing . Well organized shop Staff are very helpful especially the young man who has a voice made for radio.”

“Popped in very close to closing time without a booking and they kindly let us dine. We felt like something light and fresh so we got the wontons, kimchi and a couple of the salads - all the ingredients were so fresh and delicious! I have been to Blue Breeze Inn many times over the years and it has never disappointed. Yummy food, lovely atmosphere, exceptional service always. Highly recommend.”

“We really liked kind - so much, that we went there three times. We had great breakfast (pancakes and avocado on sourdough) and pastries (scones, pain au chocolate, savory muffin with caramelised onions, vegan meat pie with vegan cheese and vegan sausage roll). They also have lots of milk options available, one of them being macadamia milk which I’ve never seen before (oat tastes better in my humble opinion). They also offer “yesterday’s baked goods” at a discounted price that taste just as good. Definitely a must if you’re in Auckland!”

“HALF & HALF - Recommended dish here. The dish comprises of half balsamic mushrooms & half scrambled eggs, along with two slices of delicious toasted sourdough. The balsamic seasoning of the mushroom was perfect and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Also the eggs were not seasoned, allowing me to adjust the seasoning to my taste. The staff were friendly and the service time was reasonable given how busy the place was. There is extra seating upstairs along with alot of outdoor seating, including the tables in front of the restaurant next door. Great to take in some sun rays and enjoy. In summary, they deliver staple food to a high standard in a great wee spot on Ponsonby. Will be back again!”

“I organised an end of year dinner for our class at Mr Tanakas tonight (13 of us). The entire process for organising the dinner was seamless and the team were so accommodating even when things changed a few times. The vibe of the restaurant was really cool, the service was awesome, the food was scrumptious and we were all full from our the $65 p/p set menu + a couple of other yummy dishes. The cocktails and wines were great and we had the pleasure of dining in the Lantern room which was such a fun vibe and included karaoke. Unfortunately we didn’t capture photos of the food. Anyhow - I’d like to thank the staff for their wonderful service tonight!! ❤️”

“During the holiday before Christmas, while traveling in New Zealand, I discovered this hidden-gem café in Auckland. The space is simple, bright, and clean, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. What I have to recommend most is the portion size — generous and absolutely worth the price. It’s far better than those cafés where you pay a lot and still leave hungry. If you’re traveling and happen to be hungry, make sure you stop by this café.”

“Fantastic café! Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. We were visiting from out of town with our 6-month-old, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and accommodated. Although we only stopped in for a quick drink before heading to the airport, I tried some of their recommended food, and I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken bao were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and light—not heavy like some can be. The atmosphere is stylish, modern, with a bit of an industrial vibe, which is right up my alley. “This is my go to Filipino store in South Auckland, and when we were in West Auckland. They have several branches all over Auckland. They sell everything Filipino and they have a good range of choices. Pricing is also reasonable. They sometimes go on special which makes the products really cheap! They also have rewards system which you can use as actual dollars to buy stuff from the store. So if you are missing Filipino dishes and want to cook one, this is the place to go for ingredients.
