   #Bakery and cafe# I heard this bakery is the first Daily Bread. It’s located in an old building and has a lovely historic feel. There are many choices in the cabinet, especially the sourdough sandwiches. The croissants and savory items are all delicious and crispy. The French baguette is also my favorite.

   First time to Daily Bread Pt Chevalier to buy a loaf of bread $8 on Sat 1 Nov. Arrived home and shocked to see the bread was in dough form not fully baked. Shocking that your store could sell this as it is. Bread was sticky, like dough yuck!! $8 down the drain. First and last time

   Daily Bread in Point Chevalier is a lovely little eatery that’s become one of my favorites! Staff are friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.    The shop has a variety of bakeries and jams to go with. The dining area is relaxing with high roof and good sunshine.Highly recommend toasted corn beef sandwiches, at least eight layers of beef inside. A very sincere food! Can park at a parking place at the back and enter from the back door from a stairway. Will be back ~

   I love their bread .. service is great. However not withstanding inflation etc I can’t accept the size of a loaf has decreased by approximately 20% and the price has gone up by a phenomenal 20%. I understand greed but this something I won’t accept. Wish the owners the very best. Good luck and good bye. Oh and the staff really need to stop constantly wiping their nose and then handling bread with their bare hands .. give em tissues for blowing their noses and insist on wearing gloves ..

   The ham and cheese croissant was amazing. The mutton pie was full of filling with a lot of tender meat. The custard pie absolutely delicious with a delicate ginger flavor. Awesome coffee. Definitely I would come back to try other things.
