“Thought we would thus place out as it is close to where we are staying. So very pleased we did! Food was phenomenal, we loved every dish. The owner Albert was incredibly friendly and helpful with great suggestions. This man knows his stuff. Really impressed. Will be back next time we are in Auckland.”
“What a coincidence This place has just opened today after new year/christmas holiday Various Chinese cuisine provided I saved the menu for everybody, check out the photos I think it's the only Chinese cuisine at the vicinity When I was there, i'm the last customer The staff is nice, the food is also nice as well”
“Went for lunch. Was a bit skeptical because the place looked old and cluttered but when the food came out it was large portions and we had lots of leftovers enough for another meal out of it. The owners wife came to chat with us and we had a great meal time. 5 Stars for me. Authentic Chinese food. Will definitely visit again ☺️”
“My family really enjoyed going to Tasty Noodle for yummy and reasonably priced food. I absolutely love their Braised Beef Noodle Soup, especially because their noodles are hand-pulled. “Cypress Restaurant is fantastic across the board! I absolutely love both their Yum Cha menu and their dinner menu. The food is consistently very tasty, the portions are generous, and I honestly can't complain about a single dish. This is a must-try spot.”
“Both the ganjajang and jjamppong were delicious. I ordered the large portions, and the servings were so big it was almost overwhelming. At first, I thought the place was closed because the lighting was so dim, but I realized it was open after taking a closer look. The staff were also very friendly. However, the atmosphere felt a bit gloomy, which made it seem like the staff were lacking energy, and I felt sorry about that. I hope you stay strong and continue serving your delicious food.”
“Basic math skills definitely need to be reevaluated due to disappointing service being short changed. One of my horrific experiences I asked for a $20 item plus a $1 can of drink and a lighter. I handed over $40 in cash (x2 $20 notes) and in change I was given back $10 note??? How does a $1 can of drink and 1 lighter cost $10? Very poor math skills. Especially with their ethnic background. Very dissatisfied.”
“It's been almost 3 years since we last dinned at XinFengMao. We are surprised with their added variety of dishes in their menu that are kids friendly, e.g. sizzling fried Japanese tofu and sauteed potato, green pepper and eggplant. But their most favourite dish was the BBQ lamb skewers, which was lightly seasoned with cumin seeds and very appetising. We will definitely bring our family and friends back again to experience this tasty Chinese street food culture!”
“I visited the restaurant on Chinese New Year's Eve and I have to say, the staff are doing an incredible job. Normally, on CNY Eve, most restaurants have 2 sessions at 5pm and 7pm with set menus and packed spaces. However, the food and cleanliness were still well managed. I will definitely be returning to this place.”
“Absolutely delicious pork tripe and chicken herbal soup! You can really taste the quality of both the ingredients and the Chinese herbs used. The portion is very generous and great value for money. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back again!”
