The worst customer service!! I rang to make an order and was told to come in they don’t have time to talk then was hung up on. I called back and was yelled at then hung up on again. What’s the point of having a contact number if you don’t want to take calls!????
Their sweet and sour pork was by far the worst we've had in Auckland. Believe me, we've been to many chinese takeaways these past 4 days. If you're gonna come here, just come here for the other "goods", that seems to be why everyone else comes.
Basic math skills definitely need to be reevaluated due to disappointing service being short changed. One of my horrific experiences I asked for a $20 item plus a $1 can of drink and a lighter. I handed over $40 in cash (x2 $20 notes) and in change I was given back $10 note??? How does a $1 can of drink and 1 lighter cost $10? Very poor math skills. Especially with their ethnic background. Very dissatisfied.
Unreal value for money, and open late!
2 x fish (fish as thin as fritters) 2 x spring rolls (flat and hardly anything in them. $5 chips 7/10 for the chips. I thought I would pop in since lil abners was far too busy. Hoping to find an equivalent Takeaways other than McDonald's after midnight. Unfortunately this place wasn't it.
Ordered fishn chips and it was disgusting. The chips had a fowl smell, old or smelt like a stinky sponge. The fish had a salty sugary batter and the fish was thin flesh. I noticed the lady kept cutting it every time she was cooking it.she wud pull the fish out to chek if it were cooked??? By cutting it open and then throwing it bak in. Dirty knife of course. I also ordered chicken fried rice and the man didn't even clean the wok properly. He used used utensils to cook it. It just looked unhygienic and I kept.looking at their food license or grade A. I don't think so. Sore stomach the next morning. I didn't even eat it all even tho I was very hungry. Very disappointed.
Found this little gem by reading the reviews! Cute aunty and uncle operators. Generic menu offering the usual BUT the difference with these guys is the food looks and tastes great. I ordered a special which included chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork (usually not a fan) and egg fu yum with deep fried wanton. I loved all of these dishes! Veges were fresh and plentiful, proteins were juicy and the gravies were seasoned perfectly without the greasiness. This is my new go to place for Chinese food.
Always a decent amount of chips compared to other shops around my area and peggy is always so nice. She sees me with all my kids and puts in a bag of little packets of jelly. Lovely lady. Her husband I see always busy busy busy working at the back. Also the food is always so good. We always satisfied afterwards. Thank yous both for your service to the community!
