   The food did not taste bad but the two dishes we ordered were very inaccurate to their description and their customer service was poor. A year ago, I'd ordered the same dish - ginger beef, and it was entirely different then. It states vegetables, beef and scallions under the description of the dish but when it arrived, it was more like assorted vegetables and beef with NO scallions. This dish that arrived matched the description of another dish on the menu which I did not order. When I clarified with the waitor, he brought the dish to the back, and then back out and dug around the dish to show me the miserly 2 pieces of scallions he found underneath. We also ordered spicy homemade tofu which was under the category of "vegetarian dishes", but the dish came out with very little tofu and with some pork slices. They had potentially run out of tofu as when we had ordered this dish on previous occasions, there was never pork and had a lot more tofu. The beef dish also previously had a lot more scallions. The waitor barely apologised and made some flimsy excuse. If he had explained that they were lacking some ingredients, we would have understood and were OK to over look this occasion. However, instead of doing that, they weren't honest and tried to cover up their inaccuracies which we are terribly disappointed with.

   As a family of 6 we rocked up for a late dinner. They warmly welcomed us in. The meals were huge and diffently value for money. The 3 kids had kids meals and got a free drink, the adults got 4 meals to share which we struggled to eat and shared some with the kids. The beef fried noodle was great. The atmosphere was very relaxed and even though it was late we didn't feel rushed. The guy that served us was very helpful and attentive.

   Good portion size for a good price, nice food and the interior is really nice and clean. Will definitely return to try other things and get takeaways. I love how the dining room is seperate to the takeaways part.

   The new renovation looks great, and they upgraded their menu with more options. I love the West lake chowder soup and the stewed crab roe and tofu, rich flavors and definitely value of money. Super friendly staff, definitely will be back.

   Giving it a 3 star because they have the best wonton soup I have tasted of the 5 years of being here in Dunedin so far, the chips were the worse but overall Chinese food was average wouldn't pay $16-$18 for fried rice and sweet sour pork again though.

   We got 4 kids and 4 adults for lunch, yummy food with cheap price. Love the sweet tofu and crispy bird nest, sizzling seafood serve hot and all the food are delicious! Recommend for family or even couples.
