Staff are awesome but the food gives the impression that the owner and cook just don't care anymore. Boring, low effort slop. Chinese food in name only. We brought Chinese people here and could only laugh when the food arrived. Make an effort. We won't be back and I'm sure many others feel the same. Embarrassing
Very first time coming here, it was a busy night and the staff were extremely busy. The service was good for the fact there was only 2 of them serving. The food was amazing. We got a set menu for 2 soooo much food!! Such a lovely variety and was so yum! The soup was sooo yum could have had way more of that. The wontons and spring rolls were amazing. Loved the way the noodles come shaped like a bowl! Soo cool! The sweet and sour pork was so yum. Combination fried rice was soo good too. Not a huge fan of black bean but my partner enjoyed that. Had heaps of leftovers for dinner the next night. Will be back ❤️
This is the Smorgasbord takeaway-(comes with 3 spring rolls, 3:won ton, 1 chicken wing, fried rice, beef & black bean, sweet n sour pork) with Pork and mushroom soup. A very popular restaurant for their lunch menu. A must for anyone. Will not be disappointed. Great fast service. Cheers team!
My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for a great many years, from the late 1980’s when we lived in New Zealand, coming with our children & their Grandmother and love to revisit when we are back in the country. The ownership has changed a few times, but the atmosphere, the quality of food and the staff are always sublime.
Wonderful local Chinese restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Meals were delicious and presentation lovely. Will certainly return.
We come here and get the dinner for 2. We also arrive at 5.30 as when it gets busy they can be wait times. Food is always amazing and tasteful and value for money. We go at least once a month and the food ha never disappointed me. The fried banana for dessert is so delicious to!
