Tonight’s Halloween festivity finally made it happen — and what a wonderful experience it was! The atmosphere, the creativity, and the family-friendly fun made it truly special. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back to enjoy all the other events and experiences the village has to offer.”

“I went to the Auckland Botanical Gardens first thing after exiting the airport on October 6. It was a good experience, very quiet early in the morning. It's entirely free and supports the local community. Some of the highlights would be the water features, the grouping of plants by ecosystem, and the main building, which hosts I spent around an hour there. That was a little short; I think the optimal amount of time is around two hours.”

“Best start botany junction is the best daycare I found for my son. All staff are friendly, responsible and caring. You can choose this place for your child without any doubt. Highly recommended.”

“This place is awesome! Took four teenagers to a Sunday Battlestrike session for the first time. Dion was amazing, kitting the boys out and running the games. Having the new rental guns were cool. The participants, many of them with serious kit, were super friendly and accommodating, helping the teens on and off the playing fields. Highly recommend, will be back.”

“My child has been attending Pascals Albany for three years and absolutely loves it. The centre's welcoming environment and caring teachers are truly noteworthy. It's amazing how they treat us like family and inform us about my child's progress daily. I highly recommend Pascals Albany to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive childhood centre.”

“Ten Pin bowling, Arcades games, Laser Tag and Bumper cars too. There's a cafe in the middle and you can have your kid's birthday parties here with ease. Timezone area has lots of games and claw machines. There were a few machines out of service today, so just watch out before you swipe. Parking right outside.”

“As a first time Mummy, you want to make sure your child is safe, cared for and loved. That's what Nurture + Bloom provided for us! My son started at 5months, they have transition visits which helped me and my son immensely. The Aunties (teachers) are amazing, genuine, loving, kind and caring. They really made our transition a smooth one. My son is now 15months and thriving! Thank you Aunties for the amazing work you do and for always going above and beyond for not just my boy but for me too! You can really feel God's grace and peace in this Centre. I highly recommend.”

“I just wanted to come on here and give my feedback on Kidz Connect otahu as my son attends this day care. I want to start off by saying that I was so hesitant to send my son school so I stayed home with him for 2 years knowing that he was a shy reserved boy and thought he would be more comfortable at home with me (mum). It took me a lot of courage to finally enroll him and was abit scared how he would be since this was his first ever time being away from me hahaha. I do not regret one bit enrolling him into kidz connect, it took him a while to warm up to everyone but thank you to moa toddlers teachers for helping him prep for Huia pre school. For making him come out of his shell and finding his own voice, everyone there have made myself and my boy feel so welcomed and comfortable to the point he is happy to come to school everyday and that is a big change from my boy. Even from the amazing receptionist Val who always greets everyone who walks through the doors and making my boy feel comfortable before walking into class is what every parent want/needs. “Our child started in the under-3 class, and the transition was incredibly smooth, thanks to the loving and supportive teachers. Now that he's moved to the over-3 class, we can see how much he is learning and growing. His language skills have improved so much, and we're amazed at how he remembers all of his teachers' names—it shows how deeply connected and engaged he is with them. When he is sharing his story in daycare, it gives us such peace of mind knowing he's in a place where he feels happy and secure. We couldn't be more grateful for MyKindy Henderson and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring, enriching environment for their little one.”

“Really happy with this place! Loads of parking and it's not right by the main road, so dropping off and picking up isn't a hassle with fewer cars around. They don't cram in too many kids, so each child gets plenty of attention from the teachers. The staff are great with the little ones. Plus, there's a huge space for the kids to play and learn, with both indoor and outdoor gardens. My child come a long way here – from shy to super confident by the time she hit primary school. Couldn't be happier! It's not too expensive compared to others with meals included. A BIG THANK YOU PLC!!!”

After visiting several childcare centers in the Mt Albert/Owairaka area, this one stood out as the best in terms of its Amazing teachers, excellent management, and spacious, well-designed facilities. The teachers are consistently engaging, caring, and full of positive energy. Anita and Judy, the owners and managers of Red Kite, are outstanding—they create a welcoming and nurturing environment where children thrive. The team has supported my son through every stage of his development, from lifting his head to crawling, walking, running, talking and now even dancing! Thank you, Red Kite, for your dedication and care. I highly recommend visiting this center if you’re looking for a top-notch childcare experience.”

My daughter has flourished and grown over the 4 years she has been a student at BestStart. It has been her home away from home and she has spent more time with this team then some of her own relatives. She has never complained or raised any concerns.”

“A clean and tidy center where you want to send your kids. The most important thing to about this center is that the teachers are very supportive of your child’s need in terms of knowledge enrichment. The center has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate kids about front line workers, festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The center is diverse culturally and neurodiverse too. That being said, they listen to parents and note the goals for your child and work towards accomplishing those goals. Definitely recommend and one of the best centers in south Auckland.”

“Moved to Pukekohe about 4 months ago, visited more than 5 daycares and Pukekohe Early Learning Centre is the one that I wanted to enrol immediately without any hesitation. The centre provides different nutritional meals every day. Lots of different activities and visits and walks. The teachers there are so nice and patient with children. They care every single one of them and look for the children’s interest and find out the best way of development for them. This is also the reason my child got so easy to transit and fit into the new environment. There is always feedback from the teacher to surprise me with how much my child can do without mum and dad! Now my child has lots of new friends and always looking forward to going to preschool!”

“This was a beautiful walk with a stunning view awaiting at the top! Whole trip up and down took 1-1.5 hours or so, we took our time. Weather was perfect. A must-do in Auckland to see the whole city!”

“We have our 2 boys attend KLC and they have been cared for extremely well. The staff are incredibly caring, ensuring each child gets genuine attention and a strong foundation in learning. KLC is definitely not your usual ECE, our boy is now off to Primary and KLC has done a tremendous job in setting him up for a great start to his schooling.”

“Best Start Manuroa Road was our top choice for part time care after visiting 4 other facilities within our area. I loved how energetic, welcoming and informative the admin team were. I also love how genuine and engaging the teachers were with the babies. This alone set them apart from the other centres not to mention their centre spaces are sun drenched and well cared for. “I'm just so impressed with the service and care that we are getting from this centre. My daughter is a very introverted girl who was very shy to teachers and kids, and she just needed extra time to get use to the environment and the new people around her when first enrolled, but I really appreciate the teachers that they never give up on my girl, they keep encouraging my daughter to participate, try new things, and see her grow, letting her know that she's safe in this centre and that she's always welcomed. Every piece of work they do at the centre is so meaningful helping my daughter to learn and grow. Whenever I go pick her up now she's always not willing to leave and that she would share a lot with me on the way home about what she has done for the day. I really cant appreciate more, thank you so much to all the teachers. I would definately recommend this centre to those that are still trying to look for a daycare.”

“I managed to get my 6yr old booked in for 2 of the 3 day camps available these holidays and she had an absolute blast! The team leaders are fantastic, knowledgeable and full of patience. The activities are varied skill levels and always another option available or challenge to be met, Kayaks, Archery Abseiling .Meals were included and a 9- 5 day was full of action- highly recommend for any kids wanting to get out of their comfort zone or city and come enjoy the coast.”

“A nice walkway next to the wharf that provides nice views of the harbor, and leads to a nice happening area with various restaurants, bars, and high end shops. The walk is flat and easy so can be managed by anyone with basic fitness, however it’s windy in general and in a windy day it gets slightly challenging to walk. The walk from the parking lot at this location to the shops is 1.6 KM / 1 mile. Walking from the parking lot to the other end will take at least 30 minutes with plenty of stops around monuments on the way.”
