My daughter has been attending lollipops Takanini since she was 6 months old (aged 4 now). The teachers and stimulating learning environment have allowed her to thrive as an individual. The teachers have been caring and nurturing, and she has a great relationship with all her teachers.
This red mark on her shoulder when she comeback from day care lollipop it’s her first day when I went to pick her up and I saw she was crying standing and teacher just standing there doing nothing also that teacher was rude to me didn’t explain me anything just ignored me and when I saw red mark them my daughter told that when she said I don’t wanna eat then that teacher hold her tightly from arm and ask her to eat so bad please be careful from these types of childcare
Our daughter had her first day at Lollipop recently, and unfortunately the experience left us very disappointed. She was excited in the morning, but when we arrived a little early for pickup, we found her standing in the middle of the group crying loudly. No one noticed we were there, including the teacher. We waited quietly for a few minutes to see how the staff handled it, but there was no comfort or communication offered to her at all. When we approached the teacher, she was quite dismissive and didn’t greet us. The only thing she said was that our daughter “didn’t want to eat.” There was no explanation about her day and no effort to help us understand what had happened. We even had to look for our child’s bag on our own because no one offered any assistance. Another concern was that none of the familiar teachers were present that day. The teacher handling her was someone we had never seen before, which added to our worry. We emailed the centre afterward to share our concerns, but we have not received any reply. This whole experience has made it difficult for us to feel confident about sending our daughter back. We hope the centre takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and care for the children.
I would recommend to all parents. As my child is starting next week and I went today for transition so loved the way they involve kids for activities. Also very friendly teachers especially Zeenat she was lovely greeting us. My child loved the place. Food is delicious too. I am excited and happy that we choose the right place for our 3 year old explorer♥️
A clean and tidy center where you want to send your kids. The most important thing to about this center is that the teachers are very supportive of your child’s need in terms of knowledge enrichment. The center has loads of activities included in their curriculum to educate kids about front line workers, festivals, diversity, and other important dates. The center is diverse culturally and neurodiverse too. That being said, they listen to parents and note the goals for your child and work towards accomplishing those goals. Definitely recommend and one of the best centers in south Auckland.
The manager Manu is very welcoming and polite, put on a beautiful mothers day event for the mum's and children. Looking forward to our time at lollipops
My daughter has been attending Lollipops Takanini for over 4 years now, we live locally so initially it was for convenience however over the years we have found the teachers quite attentive and my daughter has enjoyed many activities and is made some great friends. The teachers go above and beyond. I love that they provide fresh and healthy snacks as well as meals. I would recommend them to any parents.
One of the best Early learning centre in South Auckland, teachers and management will always care about kids and they make sure they give at most importance to parents aspirations, staff are very friendly. I have so much of trust on teachers, they build a Strong loving relationship with children, my daughter enjoys going to the centre everyday.
Lollipops Takanini is the first kindergarten we have sent our one year old to and the teachers are just amazing over there. My daughter adjusted really well in the new environment. Will totally recommend it to other parents.
