“Lookout Bar has a great vibe – awesome views, friendly staff, and solid food. The smoked pizza was seriously good – crispy base, great flavour, and that smoky touch really makes it stand out. Seafood was super fresh, especially the prawns and calamari – cooked just right. Only downside was the sauce on a couple of dishes – felt a bit heavy and overpowered the natural flavours. Would’ve been perfect with just a lighter touch. Still, a great place to relax with a drink and enjoy the view. Worth a visit, especially if you’re into bold flavours and casual coastal dining.”

“Could not fault the waitstaff or food. The team were knowledgeable and talented in their execution of service. Plates were flavorful, spicy dishes were not overly hot, portions were suitable for sharing, and standard serves of 3 pieces could be made 4 to match our table number. A standout was the cocktail menu, with combinations I’ve not seen before leaving me wondering how to choose 2 when I really wanted to try 4. The space is flexible with indoor, outdoor and standing areas, but book outdoors if the weather is good and the temperature is warm. Would recommend and would dine there again. Thanks for having us.”

“The food was fantastic, I had the ribs with creamy mash and a fresh salad. My daughter had the large seafood chowder with bread and butter. My ribs were OMG delicious the sauce was special nothing I could identify but were sweet and tasty hugging on to super soft gelatinous ribs, my mouths watering just remembering. The staff were friendly and efficient and the chefs were knowledgeable and kind too so if you are hungry and want a delicious and sizeable meal this is the place to visit. My only poor comment would be the bathrooms they need revamping and new facilities would be perfect. Was an awesome drive to KatiKati and the Talisman bar completed our trip nicely.”

“Just popped in for a coffee and a cuppa. Spied the GF Berry Custard Slice in the Cabinet. Being a Coeliac it was a treat to see something different other than a solitary Chocolate Brownie that a lot of Cafes have just to say there is a GF option. SoHo had a number of GF options. The slice was to die for. Got it heated and it was just heaven. One of the nicest slices I’ve ever had. I’ll be back Soho. Thankyou. Great spot”

“We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the vibe was great. A live band was playing good tunes, not so loud that you couldn't enjoy a good yarn with your mates, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived when it was very busy so the wait time for a cooked meal from the menu was an hour so keep that in mind if visiting when busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to stopping in again over summer.”

The wings were soooo great, the garlic bread was quite dry BUT had a chat with the chef who offered us replacements that were super great (chips and GF garlic bread). Made our entire experience so great. The bartender Gabe also was so amazing and made us feel very welcomed and at home.”

“My wife and I went for dinner on our anniversary and I have to say, Mr. fussy here was very impressed. I had the Village Style Kleftiko and my wife had the Canterbury Lamb Platter, wow, I mean far out. The Kleftiko was absolutely stunning, so full of flavour and fall apart melt in your mouth chunks of lamb, we of course sampled each others and my wife's was stunning as well, she concurred. Of course we had to have dessert and this is what sets Costas apart from every other dinning experience I've ever had. You've just had a beautiful main and in our case an entre not to mention a couple of wines and you're beginning to feel a bit full but you'd like a dessert, something sweet to finish things off. Enter Costas mini desserts, what a brilliant idea, you don't have to pay the full price of a dessert and its just enough so you're not left with that I ate too much feeling. I had the Baklava Ice Cream and my wife had the Chocolate Mousse, both excellent. All in all, a fantastic experience, beautiful food, great atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend Costas, can't wait to go back.”
