   Booked in for a Sunday night roast. One slice of roast beef drowned in gravy and the smallest vegan Yorkshire pudding (which I requested). Vegetables were carrots and parsnips thinly sliced with a vegetable peeler which were delicious but sadly this meal was lacking in amount and size. The pub needs some attention with housekeeping needing to be done. There was a pub quiz going on which added atmosphere. Service also could have been a little more friendly. Perhaps it was an off night for staff.

   Wonderful little pub! It was really special to find such a time capsule of Welsh rugby for my dad. He loved it! The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were great. The building is really unique and has a special history in Wellington.

   If I could give six stars, I would. Great atmosphere- cozy up by the fire, have a pint at the bar and chat with the staff, get a meal and bring a group to sit around one of the big tables at the top, or go out to the excellent garden bar and enjoy the sun! (It’s quite sheltered as well from the wind) Staff are always friendly and easy to talk to (lots of cool accents!). And the food. Oh my god, the food! Welsh rarebit, pigs in blankets, amazing meals for Christmas AND midwinter Christmas! And of course the roast on Sundays. Lots of events on, excellent live music every week and of course the pub quiz. Why would you go anywhere else?

   Had a brilliant night, felt like being back in Wrexham. Lovely, friendly staff, great quiz on a Sunday night and very reasonable priced drinks including bottles of Wrexham lager! The roasts looked amazing and you can pre-order a vegan roast too. Well behaved dogs are allowed as well which is great! Iechyd da, diolch yn fawr.

   Great little pub in Wellington with fun decor and a cosy fireplace. Unfortunately the food came out cold and the meat was fatty. I was also charged different prices for the same beer.

   Awesome pub meals. I had the homemade chicken masala pie, hubby had welsh chicken, and son had Bacon/beef burger. All so yummy. Great decor. Check out the ceiling mural. Handy walk from our motel. Will definitely be back.
