Upon contacting Thai Lotus the owner was extremely accommodating and we agreed to refund 50% of my mistake. They probably didn't have to do this, so very impressed they were so reasonable. Deserve more business for being good humans.”

“It was a case of an emergency - My son's tyre had blown on his way to Hastings from Gisborne and this place was the only place open and they stayed open half an hour longer so they could change my son's tyre for his BMW coz he didn't have a spare one. “This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

“The F-Type Jaguar cracked a radiator pipe, I booked it into Bayswater European (Napier) and they did a great replacement job. They checked and noted any minor repairs for future services. I mentioned the warning beep on the air spoiler being annoying and they turned it off for free. They contacted the insurer and completed the paperwork. What more can you ask? Thanks Hugh and the team.”

“Great location along the esplanade and very close to the city centre. Excellent secure parking for my work van during an overnight stay. There was a large fully fenced children’s playground across the road and the scare park beyond that. There’s a lovely park further along the esplanade. The reception staff were pleasant and the room had everything I needed. A heat pump to warm the room up on a cold winters night and a large shower with complimentary soap and shampoo. The reception staff gave me a small bottle of milk for my morning coffee and they provide a kettle and French press with complimentary coffee for my early start the next day. $159 for a single beachfront room.”

The team not only sorted out some Bose headphones quickly and efficiently but also sorted out an excellent price without hesitation. The manager went above and beyond – offering the kind of genuine, old-fashioned service that’s so rare these days. It was such a refreshing change!
