Handy location in an old building close to centre of town. Napier is one of those places where they seem to have got the Main Street sorted. Busy location with good integration of recreation and retail. The Art Deco side is a good draw but that adds some charm. Quest is in a 1920s building that has been turned to accommodation. Rooms reflect this in their layout but you cant knock the overall atmosphere. Beds are comfortable, apartment units are spacious and well set up for a stay of more than one night. Cook, clean, wash, dry, relax and it's there. And just a few mins from either town for meals or supermarket to self cater. Your choice! One downside is the little buggers that drive around the city in their noisy cars. In the weekends, they delight in roaring around until the Police arrive but somehow the Napier downtown echoes. Probably bounces back off the hill. I'll still come back.

Very nice hotel. I stayed with a family of 3. A room was comfortable, big and well equipped. Parking is available just over the corner. Would like to come back.
