I bought a Volvo XC90 from Bayswater in September through the salesperson Hamish. Since Iβm based in Auckland, I could only ask about the carβs condition over the phone and by text. I was clearly told the car was in great condition, with no accidents or issues. Based on that, I paid a deposit before even seeing the car in person. However, at the end of October, the side wheel eyebrow fell off without any impact. As shown in the photo, all the plastic clips on the part were broken, and there was a clear βLβ mark written with a white marker, which means this is a cheap used replacement part. This also indicates that the car had previously been involved in a major accident, causing this part to be beyond repair and requiring a full replacement. Since then, Iβve been trying to contact Hamish and Steven Boys multiple times, unfortunately, they have avoided responsibility and stopped replying to my emails once I raised the issue. I believe MVTD mainly deals with car dealers concealing accident history, defects, or misleading the buyer in a used vehicle sale;ruls, this appears to be an intentionally hidden accident repair, which should have been disclosed before sale. Iβm leaving this review because, first, neither Steven Boys nor Hamish has responded to me, and second, I hope Bayswater will take responsibility and resolve this issue. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the MVTD for further action.

If there was a zero star, I would probably give a negative zero. First time coming to this place as we usually go to Eurocity. Worst experience ever! Brought my car for service and WOF at 8am, went around 2:30pm and ask for an update and frontdesk said it was done. My car has not been groomed yet so I asked the frontdesk which came back to me that the car actually was not done yet and gave me the usual car groomer is away and the covering groomer was on break. He ended giving me a voucher for car wash as they were really SLOW AS HELL FOR SERVICE! Also failed my WOF for some invisible leak. The bulb I would understand but the leak?Totally trying to rip me off! I brought my car to another WOF service center just for a second opinion and they said "THAT WAS A HARSH WOF FAIL" as they cant even determine fully if its a leak or just dirt! I WILL NEVER EVER BRING MY CAR HERE AGAIN! The worst customer service I have ever experience! Have never experience this from Eurocity for 2 years!

The F-Type Jaguar cracked a radiator pipe, I booked it into Bayswater European (Napier) and they did a great replacement job. They checked and noted any minor repairs for future services. I mentioned the warning beep on the air spoiler being annoying and they turned it off for free. They contacted the insurer and completed the paperwork. What more can you ask? Thanks Hugh and the team.

Took my RR in for a service for pick up at 3 pm. No communication all day so I phoned to check that the vehicle was ready to pick up. No one in the service department answered so I left a message to call me. and arrived at 4 pm to pick up. Was told they were very busy and hadn't started on my vehicle. and could they keep it overnight. They offered a loan car but this was not convenient for me. When I asked why they hadn't contacted me , the receptionist said she didn't know there was a delay. I will be taking my Rangie to Wellington for a service in future as I have no confidence in Bayswater European. I would have given them zero stars if possible.

Very very poor after sales service. Very misleading with the sales and sold a car that doesnt have any specs as told prior to service and after sales refuses to take the car back and just very delayed repairs aswell. If I could give them negative score then I would. Very unprofessional, am surprised they are official dealers of Range Rover and Volvo.
