“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”

“There's a Subway, a gym, public toilets, conference rooms, and a basketball court. It's always clean and lively. However, the parking around the back makes no sense. It's hard to figure out how to exit according to the arena's painted arrows.”

When I lost my dog last year, the support they gave me and my family went above and beyond anything I expected. “I haven't actually eaten here but I can vouch for the professional nature of management. I stupidly ordered by mistake from Thai Lotus believing they were a in fact Lotus Thai in Taupo. Upon contacting Thai Lotus the owner was extremely accommodating and we agreed to refund 50% of my mistake. They probably didn't have to do this, so very impressed they were so reasonable. Deserve more business for being good humans.”

“This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

“Outstanding service. A Refreshing Change! My sister had a fantastic experience at Noel Leeming Napier today after a disappointing attempt to shop online with Bose. The team not only sorted out some Bose headphones quickly and efficiently but also sorted out an excellent price without hesitation. The manager went above and beyond – offering the kind of genuine, old-fashioned service that’s so rare these days. It was such a refreshing change! I’ll absolutely be shopping at Noel Leeming next time I’m back in the Bay. Highly recommend.”

“The F-Type Jaguar cracked a radiator pipe, I booked it into Bayswater European (Napier) and they did a great replacement job. They checked and noted any minor repairs for future services. I mentioned the warning beep on the air spoiler being annoying and they turned it off for free. They contacted the insurer and completed the paperwork. What more can you ask? “Great location along the esplanade and very close to the city centre. Excellent secure parking for my work van during an overnight stay. There was a large fully fenced children’s playground across the road and the scare park beyond that. There’s a lovely park further along the esplanade. The reception staff were pleasant and the room had everything I needed. A heat pump to warm the room up on a cold winters night and a large shower with complimentary soap and shampoo. The reception staff gave me a small bottle of milk for my morning coffee and they provide a kettle and French press with complimentary coffee for my early start the next day. $159 for a single beachfront room.”
