Had problems sourcing a replacement light globe for my aging refrigerator. After several failed attempts, I called into Ideal. They couldn't have been more helpful and within 2 days the globe arrived, at a token cost of $5.77!!! Amazing service for such a small purchase.

PLEASE AVOID THIS Dirty greedy business. Cost me $68 for 30m cat6 cable. Every where else cost under $50. But the service I got was an American service where they charged me gst at the end after telling me my cord cost $50 it turned out to be $68. THIS PLACE SEEMS TO BE THE TYPE WHO MAKES THERE OWN PRICE AND TARGETS CERTAIN CUSTOMERS.

I never went into Ideal but was next door at TR Group. I did go in for a dimmer switch problem about 5 years but no one served me so I went to Stewart's electrical (no longer there) and he helped me and I gave him my dollars.

To the everyday non-trady it is likely you will not find fair prices here. I was told "Don't worry we'll look after you" and then charged three times its worth for some TPS cable. It's cheaper at Mitre Ten - and that's saying something. Friendly service on the front, mind you, but disappointed to be told I'd be looked after when I was clearly being taken advantage of.
Great service, great prices and a great Free coffee machine & bathrooms for your break between jobs.
