“Finally found our new coffee place since moving to Taradale. If you are after a nice coffee and a snack, this is 100% the place to go. Great staff were very welcoming and attentive, had a cappuccino and Apple and Blueberry Muffin (best blueberry Muffin I've had in Hawkes Bay) to share with my partner in the nearby park. Looking forward to our new weekend ritual.”

“Just popped in for a coffee and a cuppa. Spied the GF Berry Custard Slice in the Cabinet. Being a Coeliac it was a treat to see something different other than a solitary Chocolate Brownie that a lot of Cafes have just to say there is a GF option. SoHo had a number of GF options. The slice was to die for. Got it heated and it was just heaven. One of the nicest slices I’ve ever had. I’ll be back Soho. Thankyou. Great spot”

“If you are coming to Napier, the Art Deco Masonic Hotel is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean, fun, and comfortable. We originally only had a booking for 2 days but loved Napier and the hotel so much we booked an extra 2 days at the hotel. Victor at reception, and all the hotel’s staff, are very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, everything is walkable from it, and you’re right in the middle of downtown art deco center. When we return to Napier we will be staying at the Art Deco Masonic again!”

“We regularly use these kennels for our two dogs and have always found it a positive experience. The owner and staff are so accommodating with our bookings and any specific requests. Our dogs love staying there and become so excited as soon as we get to the driveway. There is a large grassed area where the dogs are let out of their kennels several times a day and socialised with other similar sized dogs. The food is of a high quality or you are welcome to bring your own. The dogs come home clearly having been well cared for by the passionate and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend using Pet2us.”

“This was the best meal I've had at a restaurant in ages. Attentive and friendly service, pleasant surroundings. The food was fantastic, great value for the money. We enjoyed the gnocchi with oyster and lions mane mushrooms, as well as the perfectly cooked tarakihi fillet with asparagus, shredded fennel, wilted greens and salsa verde. A good wine list and beautiful Little City kombucha completed our meal. We will be back next time we're in this part of the country.”

“I was shopping around looking for a bakery to do gluten free cakes for a future event and I came across a review for gluten free items at Frimley Bakery. WHAT? No way! I went there like 7 years ago and I could only get a $9 toastie (good but $9 in 2018). Today they have a whole shelf of GF items and there is savoury and sweet. I got a whole spice loaf for $7.50!!!! It is soft and yummmmmm!”

I had a very urgent request for a very small item sold at Cake Stuff, living in Auckland I couldn’t not find one anywhere. Not only was I greeted with the friendliest of replies when I enquired, but they went out of their way to stop everything they were doing, package the item up for me and visit the NZPost up the road, before the money was even transferred. “Fantastic breakfast place with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options ranging from smoothies, bowls to bagels and toasties and even breakfast porridge. You can customise you own toast with whatever you fancy. Granola bowl and Smoothies are delicious. Coffee is good, but bit bitter for my taste. Service very polite and friendly”
