Quite a fine dining place Great wine pairing especially their whites and rose Appetizers are really good We asked for a tasting menu..and they actually catered to ( based on the website but not when we got there...) need reservation for sure sure. Really good service.. good waiter. Quite creative with the menu
We visited between lunch and dinner and opted for a snack platter to share. It was raining but the staff lit the warmer near our table and we had a wonderful afternoon. Great service!
I loved everything at Mission. The food, service and ambiance. They make you feel special and food was fresh, it looked beautiful and tasted great. They have great vegetarian options. Will love to go there again
We have had degustation meals all over NZ and this was definitely the best. It was not only the biggest quantity and biggest variety it was also the best quality. Amazing.
Fantastic restaurant serving beautifully presented meals and great flavours. The old house with its garden overlooking vineyards is really a very nice venue to dine at. The service was impeccable and the staff friendly and attentive. Bravo to the chef and special thanks to Remy for his attention.

Delicious as always. Wait staff was a bit green and awkward, but I'm sure they will improve. Winter warmers menu is great value and a delicious way to try dishes you otherwise wouldn't. A great place for a special meal
We love the food, the beef, the pasta, the fish and chips, the wine. Perfect.
Absolutely incredible meal on their beautiful patio. We enjoyed their wide selection of their own wines plus incredible food by the chefs. This is one of the best meals I have had in years. The potato doughnuts, cheddar cheese souffle, and truffle bread are fabulous. We plan to come back and highly recommend!! We luckily were able to come in without a reservation but will make sure we reserve in the future to ensure we can eat here!
My husband and I decided to drop by this estate for lunch because we heard it was the oldest estate in NZ and it was just a tourist stop that had to be made. We weren’t expecting the food to be good but we were pleasantly surprised! Food was really amazing. I highly, highly recommend the truffle cheese bread. I couldn’t stop myself from gobbling it down. The lamb was also very good. We had a couple of drinks to go with it. Simply delicious! And after that we spent some time taking pictures around the estate. You can also do wine tasting here but we skipped it as we had a long travel ahead of us. Overall, great place to dine and relax among friends. The view is just beautiful. Makes whatever you’re eating much more delicious ;)
