“CareVets Chartwell were able to take a short notice weekend consultation when I became concerned about his behaviour. The vet quickly decided he needed dental treatment and that was the key reason for Darcy’s change of vibe. They had Darcy booked in at their sister clinic Hamilton South at a date convenient to me, provided pain relief and antibiotics and gave me a lot of peace of mind. Ever since my first consultation with CareVets Chartwell I’ve been exclusively taking Darcy to Chartwell and Hamilton South Clinic’s and received top notch customer service. Darcy has never been happier and you guys provide by far the best vet experience for my wee dude that he’s ever had in his 6 years. Thanks for all your team do. The reception team are so knowledgeable and provide great advice and the vet doctors are exceptional at what they do. Worth every cent and will be back again and again in the future instead of using Darcy’s other vet clinic. Thanks heaps!”

“This was our first time at the Grooming Room. My big baby (Labradoodle) was a complete mess after lockdown. The ladies warned that she'd probably have totally bald patches and that she may have terrible skin irritation. She came out just beautiful, without any patches. Even her ears were pretty after having a few big matts. Doggy was calm and well behaved during the whole process. Very impressed.”

“The gentleman who owns it was friendly and accommodating to my tardiness. A lovely old building that seemed to have a character of its own. The room a pleasant mixture of vintage and modern. For me, personally, a charming accommodation. A suggestion: perhaps move the history of the building to its own two pages, nearer the front? If possible, some photos and a map of the building. Lean hard into the near 100 years, as that's part of what drew me to stay here.”

“Very clean and modern. Lots of parking. Rooms were immaculate and well appointed. Lovely staff. Decided to stay another night as it was quiet and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with hot plate and microwave. Impressive motel. Would stay again if I came back to Hamilton.”

“The unit is better than expected. This is like home away from home, it is so well equipped. The unit has obviously been refurbished. Very clean, tidy, and so handy to the hospital. Just bring earplugs if you're not used to traffic noise.”

“Today my day was made when I went into the Godfreys in Tristram street! My vacuum hadn’t been working properly so I took it in expecting to have to pay a large amount for a service. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff member took to my needs straight away and started dealing to my vacuum. He gave it a thorough clean and fixed the problems within 10 minutes. I was happy to pay for his help but didn’t charge me. He also gave me information about how to care for my vacuum properly that I wasn’t aware of! I could not recommend Godfreys and their helpful staff enough!”

“went in the other day and the first thing i noticed was the amazing atmosphere in there, they seemed so nice and it was so friendly. the other thing i loved was that the store organized their clothing by size which can make a big difference and be helpful as someone who has struggled with finding clothes in their size before. staff were really kind and all clothes i got fit me”

“I found the Chemist Warehouse at Centre Place in Kirikiriroa to be fantastic. The staff were super helpful, and the prices were unbeatable. I got all my essentials at a fraction of the cost I'd normally pay. They had a great selection of products, from skincare to medication, and the team was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely my go-to spot for pharmacy needs in Hamilton, Centre place. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.”

“I would highly recommend this hotel! Lovely service, super clean rooms, lovely crisp hotel sheets and perfectly adequate bathroom. Breakfast buffet was awesome! Even though it was next to the airport, I didn’t hear a single plane. Carpark right outside the room which made for easy unpacking and packing up. Would highly recommend.”
