My family and I have been sending our dog ( Benji ) here for the last 2 years, he really really loves it here, the staff are super super nice, there knowledge of dogs is of a high level especially when i told them my dog had his surgery done on his right back leg, they straight away new our to care for him and his needs, i new straight away he'll be in good hands, I highly recommend to any dog lovers that are needing a place for there pet to feel safe and loved. We would not take our dog anywhere else. Keep up the Awesome work guys.
Our two miniature foxies recently stayed here for two weeks while we were waiting on the arrival of our baby. Because of this we were unable to give the owners an end date when we initially booked them in, the owners were very understanding and accommodating and let our fur babies have an open ended stay. When we picked them up, they looked so happy and well cared for. Coats super Shiney and well fed! Highly recommend tamahere kennels and would trust my doggos in their care in the future without hesitation! Thank you for treating our fur babies as if they were your own!
Thankfully was able to fit me in at the last minute. No issues. Even had Max fed when I picked him up just b4 6pm.

Glad to have somewhere to have our little guy stay for the first time while we were away and I'm sure he was happy enough but came back home with him and his stuff did not smell flash at all cleanliness/tidyness could definitely Improve
Very very very untidy. Owner did not want to show us where our dog would be sleeping until we said we were going to take him somewhere else. Dog returned with so much energy compared to other places we have taken him which makes me think they get limited outside time and smelt extremely bad. However, he was not hurt or in any distress.
From a humans point of view this place appears to have what's needed. It is closer to Cambridge than Tamahere which makes it convenient for us. More importantly our choc lab loves it! The dogs are matched up with other dogs so they get to have great play and good exercise. It is always good when we come to pick her up and she's in good condition and happy.
