Great daycare. Take our dog there every week, and he loves it. He has a good play and then rests and another play and often comes home tired. He's always happy when we arrive and the owners and staff take good care of him. Recommended

Highly recommend. The team are amazing and my dog Rusty loves going to day care. I always know Rusty is always well looked after.

Yanking on our 7 month old dogs lead so violently that she does a full back flip & then ignoring that incident and quickly moving to attend to the next person collecting their dog was the first. Ok, mistakes happen but then our dog was apparently incessantly noisy during 'quiet time', their solution if I wanted her to keep attending, a 'bark collar'. Conversely, at her new daycare, from her first day, she settled quickly and even slept. So glad that now we have a fab, clean, spacious indoor and outdoor, fully supervised daycare that encourages a walk through, has an interesting doggy playground in both the indoor and outdoor spaces and are super friendly & great communicators. They will even text an update during the day, with pics, if you want.

I regret to say that I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience. Despite making prior contact and securing a booking for our holiday eight days in advance, the lack of communication and inadequate information provided by the owner has led to a significant inconvenience. In preparation for our stay, we promptly addressed the owner's request to update our dogs' vaccinations. We diligently obtained the necessary vaccinations and even went the extra mile to send the owner a comprehensive photo of the vaccination sheet. Unfortunately, we received no response from the owner for the entire eight days following the submission of these documents. To our dismay, upon arrival at the establishment, we were rejected entry by the owner because our dog did not have the Lepto vaccine. Our veterinarian had assured us that this vaccine was unnecessary, considering the extremely low incidence rate of the virus in New Zealand and the fact that most kennels do not require it due to it not being legally mandated. This unexpected turn of events has put our entire vacation in jeopardy as this establishment refuses to accommodate our dog without the Lepto vaccine. While it is understandable that the owner is well-versed in canine vaccination requirements, it is essential to recognize that pet owners like ourselves may not possess the same level of knowledge (For example, I do not know what CCB + Van5 + Lepto meant). Consequently, we had relied on the owner's request for the vaccine sheet and had sent it accordingly. The minimum expectation would have been a response to our email containing the vaccine slip, as requested, prior to our arrival. Instead, we found ourselves in a highly inconvenient situation, left without any accommodation for our pet on the dawn of our holiday. Considering the significant disruption and lack of consideration demonstrated in this situation, along with the other reviews about lack of care regarding pets and communication, I cannot recommend this establishment to fellow pet owners seeking reliable and communicative pet care during their vacations.

I don't know about dogs, but I wouldn't recommend this place for cats. Had to leave my cat at this place during the Christmas break for around 40 days hoping they would take good care of her. I was overseas and asked them for few photos of my cat on messenger. They saw my message and didn't replied to that. So I had to ask them again after few days to get get photos. They have an indoor and outdoor area for cats which is good. But, when I picked her up I felt something unusual on her tail tip. When I took her to the vet, doctor said a portion of her tail is dead and need to do a surgery to remove it or it might spread. She was also having respiratory infection which she got it from this place. When I asked these guys about this, they were not aware of this(and claimed they checked my cat everyday)and tried to wash their hands by saying some other cat might have chewed her tail. I don't know what exactly happened to my cat, but I won't be using this cattery anymore.

We brought our pup Toby here for a night. Great online booking service so that we could see availability without having to call or email staff. Awesome facility with lots of room to run and play for the dogs and the staff are so lovely and helpful. We were quite worried leaving our pup somewhere new but the staff made sure we were comfortable with everything and he came back very happy and well excercised ! Thanks Animal Lodge, will recommend :)
