“A beautifully appointed property, surrounded by lovely gardens and fun amenities. Our group of 7 adults and 5 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay, swimming in the well maintained pool, jumping on the safe trampoline and exploring the picturesque grounds. There was plenty for the kids to do so the grown ups could relax and enjoy the spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces. “Buddy absolutely loves coming to daycare! He goes twice a week and always runs into the back every morning to catch up with his doggy mates. The team are so lovely, super easy to deal with and the service is top tier! I couldn’t ask for better people looking after Buddy. Highly recommend League of Pups!!”

“This was a really wonderful experience, we can not find one fault even if we tried, the facilities are fantastic the gardens superb with a gorgeous swimming pool and fabulous decor and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Nick was the perfect host nothing was to much trouble really welcoming and what made this stay really magical was Nicolas the food and beverage manager he has a wealth of knowledge around different wines, and his enthusiasm for the industry is really contagious we highly recommend a stay at Henley.”

“Fantastic lodge looking right over Lake Karapiro, perfect for family getaways, wedding parties, sporting groups and small corporate groups. The service was outstanding, Jo and Jon are fabulous hosts and the decor within the lodge itself was superb. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!”

“My Wife and I stayed at the Cobb Cottage on our wedding night and were blown away by the beautiful place and friendly service. We were greeted with a candle-lit atmosphere, (good) bottle of bubbles, good sized chocolate desserts and fresh baked bread. The Cottage was very clean and tidy and fitted out in a beautiful way that makes the entire place a piece of artwork. In the morning a fresh loaf of bread and hot tea were left for us on the outside table. Found in the fridge were a variety of drinks and the ingredients (and recipe) for a fantastic smoothee. We enjoyed this out of the sunny deck where it is easy to relax for the whole day. The way the place is arranged, the house and grounds are nicely private. We really would recommend this to anyone and wish we had booked in for longer. Looking forward to heading back one day!”

“Great host with really good communication for easy check in and he also let me check in earlier. Great place, it's a lovely old character place that has been done up with new bathrooms, kitchen etc. Clean, good facilities/furnishings and warm (heating throughout). Fairly priced too unlike some places that charge more and aren't as nice. Would stay again when travelling through and recommend to others.”

“Older style spacious King Size Studio no 8 Comfortable bed ,clean, well stocked Kitchen with utensils. Friendly Manager Walking distance to Restaurants,very quiet.”

“We loved the Russling Oaks pool house, one night was not enough as we felt relaxed as soon and we arrived and didn't want to leave the next day. The whole unit was spotless and beautifully decorated, gardens were well kept and park like. Pool was a added bonus.”

Cristal the owner went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, she even offered to pick us up from Leamington, a neighbouring town. It was perfect for my elderly mother and myself.”
