This is one of those cozy holiday cottages you find tucked away now and again. The only place we would stay in Cambridge. Lovely hosts. Warm and comfortable. Recommend

We walked into a lovely back garden into an even lovelier apartment. 2 bedrooms, spotlessly clean, well stocked with tea, coffee, milk and a personal touch of home made fresh ginger and lemon drink. Continental breakfast at hand. Andrea made us very welcome and I would highly recommend this
Nothing was too much for the host. There were breakfast foods for you in the pantry so you could decide what you wanted. Comfortable beds and a lovely warm clean house made it the perfect retreat. There was even a stack of cut timber for the fire if needed. I would certainly re visit if up that way.
Andrea obviously takes pride in everything she does. The apartment is beautifully decorated with so many lovely extras. The garden was also beautiful.
Everything was absolutely perfect! The host, Andrea, is a really kind, thoughtful, polite and sweet lady. She made us feel at home from the very beginning. The apartment has everything you might need and more. Just like your own house...really, everything. They are so thoughtful that they have a first aid kit, sunscreen, make up remover, whatever you can think of! They also provide you with breakfast: bacon, eggs, fresh homemade lemonade, milk, butter, jam, toast, cereal, coffee and tea. They even had rice, some canned goods and all the kitchen utilities you might need. They even had board games, books, take away leaflets... The house was spotless clean, which seems hard for such a big place. They had extra blankets, towels, pillows. In the morning, Andrea greeted us with some fresh strawberries too and she was really kind to us during the whole stay. The apartment is located at a 4 minute car drive from Cambridge center so everything is quite close if you needed too. Otherwise, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are visiting the area. Especially comfortable if you are traveling from Auckland to Hobbiton/Waitomo Glowworm Cave or viceversa. To sum up, you will feel even better than at home. Stay here if you can.
