   We just came from a wonderful stay at the Oar and Paddle in the Paddlehouse Suites. We stayed with two couples and one child. The Paddlehouse Suites had room for everyone, and it was helpful that each room had an en suite. David and Sue were excellent hosts and have an immaculate property. The property is beautiful and serene, private and with an incredible view. It was especially wonderful as we stayed for a regatta in Karapiro and were able to not only to see races from the grass in front of the chalet but also were able to walk to the event along the lakeside path. Highly recommend!

   Absolutely stunning location above lake Karapiro. Beautiful, stylishly appointed rooms. Extremely comfortable, huge beds, and a view to die for each morning waking up. Highly recommend if visiting the Cambridge area.

   My four-night stay at the Oarhouse Chalet was fantastic from start to finish. The chalet is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, and comfortably sleeps up to six. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the modern amenities. The location is simply stunning. I spent hours on the deck, enjoying the breath-taking views of Lake Karapiro and surrounds. Hosts David & Sue are incredibly welcoming while also providing privacy. Their communication was excellent, and they are a wealth of local information. I highly recommend the Oarhouse Chalet to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable stay. Whether you want to relax with a good book or explore the beautiful Waikato region, this is the perfect place. I'm already planning my next trip back with my family!

   Friendly host. Beautiful view over the lake. Well appointed, very clean and really comfortable accommodation. This place would be perfect for a wedding or larger event. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the space and the garden.

   The Oar and Paddle is a great place to stay. So quiet and peaceful and the views are amazing. We stayed in Suite 1 and could quite happily sat in bed all day looking at the view! The accommodation is top notch and everything is finished to a high standard. David and Sue were lovely hosts and I'm sure we'll be back again. Would happily recommend to anyone.

   What a wonderful place. Beautiful surroundings, lovely comfortable beds, excellent services, beautiful and warm. Electric blankets (definately not required as beds are nice and warm). David was lovely to deal with and was really accommodating. What more could you want. Wanted to stay longer. Amazing will definitely be recommending to friends.

   My Family and I stayed at the Oar and Paddle. It was just amazing. The Property itself was set out perfect. The views are beautiful. We had everything we needed in the house. David and Sue are just so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hardest part of the stay was leaving such a Special place.
