Rude, not interested and abrupt. Thats how we have experienced multiple staff working here. Despite rentals being this company's bread and butter, they have terrible customer service and for some reason, an attitude. We had an application on a property that the Managing Director was an agent for, despite being told we would be notified of a decision, never heard from her again. Just don't bother, find someone who is interested in helping you as a tenant.
Enquiried about few rentals via email through trademe and the tenacy app. No response, no viewing times, responded to a email and called multiple times. Never got a response. Feel for the owners who are missing out on potential applicants with reliable references. Recommended Harcourts as their response is quick with viewing times and applications.
We rented with ARS for nearly 2 years in a beautiful house in Cambridge. During this time, Gaylene always made our tenancy delightful. Anything we needed fixing was done, and house inspections always was a great way to catch up. 10 out of 10 for ARS and more importantly - Gaylene
Our experience was awful. As we had never rented out our family home before, we thought that using ARS would ensure professional management without stress. Tenant vetting was cursory and poor then poor inpections didn't look at areas of the house being damaged. The result was a major capital loss on our house when we sold and the tenant left. Communication was poor and not the slightest concern about the resulting disaster. Only concerned with avoiding any responsibility.
I have contacted them multiple times, as well as gone in desperately looking for a rental. Every time i was informed that someone would get back to me but no one ever has. My friend has experienced the same poor service.
