The hotel here is only good if you’re blind drunk and need a place to sleep. The rooms are super grubby! Spider webs everywhere on the bed and walls ect. The furniture is outdated and just over all gross. They advertise the hotel online but really should just stick to if anyone gets to drunk and needs a place to sleep . If you’re going to advertise the hotel online maybe revamp the rooms and hire a professional cleaners ?
Came for lunch, had the blt and butter chicken from the $10 menu and wow its a bargain, blt is fresh and quite big and the butter chicken was maybe homemade and just the best, ice cold Waikato on tap just great. The lady at the bar is so friendly and happy
If you are looking for a place to sleep early then this is not the place for you as the loud music from the bar won't let you sleep. But if you would like to drink till late with some music and then sleep late, this is your best option. Although I do feel it is high time they renovate it.
