“The coffee is good. The muffins perhaps too good. But the stars of the show are the service staff. They're friendly, cheerful, pleasantly interactive and interested in the people they serve.”
“Visited recently for dinner, service was great, we had a special pizza that was delicious. Also had a a yummy sticky date pudding. Would be back for pizza again!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Phenomenal – Best Pie I’ve Ever Had! Rangiora Bakery’s Sumatran Pie is hands down the best pie I’ve ever eaten—and I’ve had my fair share of pies! The flaky, golden pastry is absolute perfection, and the filling is something truly special. The slow-cooked beef infused with Sumatran spices creates an explosion of rich, aromatic flavors, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of warmth and depth. Every bite is pure magic. Not only is their pie award-winning (and rightfully so!), but their customer service is outstanding. They went above and beyond to courier pies all the way to Palmerston North, and they arrived in perfect condition, safely guarded by a little gingerbread man! That personal touch says everything about the care they put into their food and their customers. I would move to Rangiora just to be closer to this bakery. If you love pies that set a new standard, do yourself a favor and get here. 1000% recommended!”
“Our local so abit biasd. We have been going here for over a decade and will continue. Everything you need. Great service.”
“Highly recommend! Amazing food, lots of cabinet food as well as the menu. Great service and nice coffee. Won't go anywhere else now. Eggs Benedict is amazing.”
“Beautiful library building enhanced by decent coffee, simple food done well and kind service.”
“Very nice and polite staff and the owner carefully explained the hotpot. Hotpot was pretty good and the mixture of the sesame paste was great! This store lives up to its name.”
“Fast and friendly service. Piping hot and tasty chai lattes (have had them good takeaway too, my only comment is that I wish the 'large' takeaways were bigger as they are pretty small) . Lively atmosphere and lovely decor with all the different pictures/paintings hung on the walls. Great selection of cabinet food. We had a custard muffin, it was delish. All in all a great new cafe on the block.”
“Great service food is delicious. Also great that is attached to Garden shop.”
“We visited La Luna last night and were so impressed! The pork belly was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. Great value for money and the staff were super friendly.Highly recommended❤️❤️❤️”
“Me and my wife had lunch at Columbus Coffee Rangiora and really enjoyed it. We ordered Coffee , pasta and large fries the pasta was delicious and the fries were excellent. The staff were polite and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended, we will definitely come again!”
“I stopped by Coffee Culture at lunchtime for a mocha latte, and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Christchurch! I’ve been hooked on mocha drinks ever since a tea-tasting ceremony in Japan, where I had the most unforgettable mocha. The mocha latte here had a well-balanced portion of tea powder, delivering a pure, smooth, and hearty taste—perfect for colder weather. However, the mocha powder didn’t fully dissolve, which was a bit disappointing—definitely could use a better tea whisk. The customer service was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, and I was especially impressed by the person taking orders—patient, welcoming, and greeting everyone with a warm smile. The café is also in a great spot, surrounded by a variety of stores, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to visit. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!”
“I had avocado toast here for lunch today. Chef Jessie has delivered the plate to my table by himself. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious and lovely presentated! It's one of my favourite places for healthy delicious lunch. As well they have sparkling water straight from the tap, what is so unusual.”
“We stopped for a coffee and snack and I was amazed to see gluten free cheese rolls! I know its incredibly hard to make anything with gluten free bread and my husband had not had a cheese roll for so long! Even better his gluten free one was the same price as my non gluten free one! Top marks all around.”
“I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed a hibiscus tea with the Bubble And Squeak for breakfast.”
“I went to have a chat up with my friends today, and this coffee club does make it a fantastic experience! The club sandwich is huge and delicious. Their iced chocolate is also a stand-out with plenty of toppings. The place is spacious and super clean. And the staff are always so friendly. Couldn't ask for more, five stars!”
On the plate at Joe's Garage Cranford Street, the idea is breakfast‑and‑brunch and well judged. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Pricing lines up with the offer.
“Weekly visits. Always our first go to option. Lots of gf options and the drinks are the best as they use real fruit (frozen) for the drinks not syrup. Awesome food and service”
On the plate at Māra Café, the idea is breakfast‑and‑brunch and well judged. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying. Service stays present without fuss.
“Beautiful staff and amazing customer service. Hot chocolate and food divine. Have been many times when in NZ and everytime is the same.”
“One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had in Chch, the hash cake was very good. It was good that they serve it with relish a lot of places never provide a sauce option. The only downside is the service was less than desirable, I found the staff to be vacant and rude and the servers to be unfriendly which I wasn't happy about. Very lucky the chef is keeping this review 5/5 instead of 3-4/5.”
“My first time here, catching up with a friend. Light, airy, friendly atmosphere, good service and good food (and a great coffee). Will definitely be back, and can recommend it as a really good meeting place.”
“Great food caravan well worth the stop for their excellent coffee but the pies are amazing! I've had pies from Fairly, Shefeild and Darfeild bakery but these are the best I have tried and reasonably priced. Awesome service couldn't be better I will be back.”
“The jalapeño scone was fantastic! Coffee is consistently great too.”
“Stewarts coffee has some of the oldest ties to the production and import of coffee beans in nz. Try it out”
“This is by far my favorite place to go in Rangiora, the food and coffee is the best in town and the owner who works there too is so welcoming. Looking forward to getting back there to try the real fruit icecream.”
“Great venue, great place, great owners, all-in-all you couldn't have asked for a better day”
