   I was so impress with Urban Eatery Cashmere this morning. A warm welcome on arrival and even though it was early all the outside tables were clean and dry. The servers were all delightful and the coffee was delicious. Such an improvement on a few years ago.

   As a Leistrella local we love this cafe, it's dog friendly and the staff are so lovely. We love their coffee and they truly make the best scones. We are weekly visitors and just love this cafe.

   I've had a few eggs bene in my time at various cafes all over ChCh and the one I had this morning at 8.30am after a pool swim was right up there with one of the best I've ever had. Might cost a few $'s more than some places, but it was a generously portioned serve made with good quality ingredients.....verdict.........delicious. The x2 in-house potato rosti served with the slighly crispy bacon (as requested), x2 runny eggs with baby spinach leaves and hollandaise was great. Asked for hot coffee to be served with the meal and that's exactly how it arrived. Was a peaceful and quiet dining experience at that time of the morning. I've had numerous mid morning cafe visits to UECafe Cashmere and never ever had any reason to complain. Works for me. Staff always friendly and helpful. The power of a smile.

   Went here yesterday afternoon with 2 others. 4 tables needed clearing, and weren't cleared for over half an hour. I realise dogs are allowed but I don't think this law should ever have been changed to allow dogs inside at cafes. It's unhygienic. Two large golden retrievers put their paws on the counter top. A staff member patted a dog and then returned to work behind the counter. He used sanitiser, but in my opinion should have washed his hands! My Breakfast Muffin wasn't great. Bacon not good quality, and egg was hard. But my main complaint is about the floor. It was filthy! Not just dog biscuits everywhere, but the whole floor had stuff all over it! Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

   Great wee spot, plenty of 'easy' parking. I had the omelette - would not fault that, wonderful and fluffy as they should be. Staff friendly, good coffee and beautiful garden center to amble through afterwards

   Had a lovely hot coffee and delicious apricot & cranberry slice. Yum. Highly recommend. The mango and strawberry milkshake’s that my children ordered along with the muffins went down a treat. I could see the staff were really busy but the smile and welcome on arrive was great to see. It’s a really warm friendly cafe and a great place to catch up with family & friends. Will definitely be back and I highly recommend trying this cafe for yourself.

   Gotta love this place. Where else can a dog take it's owner out for coffee and kids can take their parents out and someone else cooks the lunch. Our seniors can meet to catch up, enjoy the company of their friends and family in a place that is really easy to access and there is never a rush to get away. The happy staff are always pleased to see you, whether it's your first time or you bring your owner in for a coffee every week. The food is excellent, the coffee the best - I cannot think of a better place to enjoy the company of others or just some quality 'me' time. Full marks from me.

   Always wondered why this place is so busy, so decided to give it a try despite all the warning reviews. Sadly should have listened to them, as they are correct. Just a sad place with unhappy staff, who doesn’t care about customers. Zero interest in customer from the moment you walk in , dirty, filthy tables and whats most disappointing average food. Cabinet food looked not very fresh and a la carte menu mainly focusing on eggs and English style breakfast with no vegan options at all. Coffee takes forever and disgusting taste. Very disappointing and still don’t get why so many older people go there..
