The motel was perfectly located just across a major Supermart (Pak n Save), and their prompt service made check-in seamless. Communication was effortless, and the cleanliness of the beddings and surroundings was impressive. Most importantly, Anita and Shane's friendly and helpful nature made us feel right at home. “I cannot recommend 306 Riccarton Hotel enough! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their friendliness and willingness to help at all times truly made a difference. The price was affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we hardly heard any road noise. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with everything we could possibly need—and then some! The location is ideal, within walking distance to nearby shops etc so everything was super convenient. We’ll absolutely be returning to 306 Riccarton Hotel next time we’re in Christchurch. Also walking distance from some good restaurants! Also loved the fact that they had a bottle of dishwashing liquid not those horrible little sachets! Will definitely stay again!”

“Well located motel just minutes from the Botanic Gardens. We arrived in 5 deg C weather and the heating was turned on for us to enjoy the room immediately. Very thoughtful gesture. Our room had 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, a kitchenette, a dining table with 4 chairs, and a toilet. Comfortable space for 4 adults. Only issue is that the beds are a little on the soft side but pillows are firm & high, which made for a pretty weird sleep at an angle. Washer & dryer available, which were very useful! Kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, French Press, and an induction stove, hob, and pots and pans. Functional! Definitely recommend this place for those looking for a simple, fuss-free but comfortable stay but don't mind soft beds.”

“A really good vet clinic , my cat is still under treatment so I don't know about her outcome yet .It will be a while to get her stable and ongoing .She couldn't be in better hands. I think she is very unwell ,she went away for 2 -3 days and just came back tonight. I fed her and my stray black cat came in for his fed.they don't get on as he is a real male ,unneutered and think he's a feral/exdomestic cat possibly dumped or left behind when young he did the cat flap next door & got kicked out harshly so came into mine he was starving.. I kicked him out as there was a big cat fight ,mine hid under the bed eventually ,He has scooted out the flap but 5 minures he comes back with this low growl 'keep away' big bluff actually . So I fed him some of that shredded meat and he was one happy cat and he loves milk (I know it's not too good for their lungs apparently) but he drunk 2 bowls and got into the cat biscuits .He's sporadic though I never know when he'll turn up and now I'm allowed to pet him .I slipped him a dewormer tab and is now a pitch black nice cat. The Manx I think is too ill to save Petal needs to sleep but I can't get her out from under the bed . I'm too disabled to reach her ,I tried but shes found a good spot.Mean while I adopted Rufus an 8 year old mixed breed big like a lab. He's a softie ,loves food and likes me the source of delights .He has to sample tit bits off my plate I hand him or I risk losing the whole lot and he loves icecream & custard .Sorry to ramble but I'm in bit of a panic with Petal she needs out and in the cage when I can get her to my vet in Darfield . She had 3 lovely kittens all adopted 2 females with normal tails and a male a real Manx ,a little knub for a tail .He went to my best mates wife. I later thought Darn I shoulda kept him for Petal and us ........She had a good life sole charge I used to see her patrolling the territory and she never figured out a hedgehog we used to feed..............I got a pic somewhere...Oh well, I'll have to call someone I hope she doesn't leave me again.”

“The vets were amazing the whole time my dog was in their care. They kept me updated regularly with calls, texts, and photos, even at night. They were extremely helpful and affordable, and I’ll forever be grateful for the care my dog received.”

“I was really disappointed that no one contacted me before or after uploading my recent blood test results. I was expecting to hear from someone regarding the outcome, especially given the context and the emotional weight of the situation. Instead, I had to check the results on my own, with no explanation or support provided. I understand that clinics can be busy, but a quick follow-up call or message would have gone a long way. Clear communication and patient care should extend beyond just uploading lab results Updated: I really appreciate that the clinic followed up and offered to arrange alternative testing, thank you for taking the time to check in. It’s great to know that patient care and communication are important to the team. I’m grateful for the support and the steps taken to ensure everything is being followed up properly. “Our food was very tasty and well portioned. They gave us some extras which were also delicious and the waiter was a very accommodating young lad. Music set the scene like a mediterranean elevator and was perfect to eat too. Hope all goes well with the new management. Will be back in the near future.”

“My first time at this vets, and was very impressed with the service I got from all of the staff. Very caring. Also gave excellent advice in a non-judgemental way. My boy's foot pad was split open after a mountain adventure, it's the 3rd time he has had this type of injury, but the first time we have been told it isnt a food allergy! I am happy I made the decision to change to VetEnt, and Emma the vet couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommend.”

“I had a great experience at this restaurant the other day. The interior is both elegant and inviting, creating a sophisticated ambiance. We visited for lunch as a group of 8 including locals who are regulars here. Many of us opted for the highly recommended their “Chefs pie”: Beef & Ale Pie, a generous portion of flaky pastry filled with savory beef,buttery cabbage, creamy mashed potatoes, and rich gravy. It was a delicious and satisfying choice. The other dishes ordered by our group were equally well-received. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. We'll definitely be returning to this wonderful restaurant.”

“Situated in approximately 26acres of bushland, adjacent to the Ashley gorge and Ashley River. This is a beautiful area with plenty of space for everyone. There are clean and modern bathrooms and well appointed kitchens. A small playground, with swings and a slide etc, sitting on a raised area full of bark-chips for safety. Lots of time and effort has been put into this park over the last few years, and is a credit to the new owners.”
