   Our food was very tasty and well portioned. They gave us some extras which were also delicious and the waiter was a very accommodating young lad. Music set the scene like a mediterranean elevator and was perfect to eat too. Hope all goes well with the new management. Will be back in the near future.

   Food is delicious but the wait time is tad longer as they cooked it when order is placed so it's really fresh. The ventilation is not great in the eatery as U will notice a strong food smell on your clothing and hair after you leave the place.

   I ordered the Chef’s Special for two people. The portion was generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The dish mainly consisted of deep-fried items, which made it feel a bit greasy for my taste by the end. Still, it was decent overall, and I’d like to come back and try something else from the menu next time.

   During my stay in Christuch in 2021, I had dinner here a few times. It was recommended by one of my vegetarian friends. We made a reservation ahead of time because the restaurant is very popular and busy, even on weekdays. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain their special dish, the Tagine, to us. They were patient and made sure we understood what it was and how it was prepared. The portion sizes were generous, so we felt satisfied after our meal. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lively. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. This restaurant is a great choice if you’re looking for a nice Middle Eastern place to eat with friends.

   Really delicious food. We had the Simo Platter which is plenty for 2 people. Not as heavy on the fried stuff as other places. Good value, less than $30 per head. Recommend. Don’t book online, it doesn’t seem to work.

   Excellent food, very well presented. Tasty and lots of variety. Good vegan options as well with the platter. Fresh and handmade. Lovely dips and flatbread. Friendly waitress who was super helpful with suggesting things off the menu to get the best value for money. A little chilly in the restaurant in the back booth by the door to the toilet. There was a short cold draft. But other wise we will definitely be back!

   This place is a gem and I don’t understand why is it so empty. The food is amazing!!! We got the paella and the lamb, and the lamb is so tender and delicious. And the baklava!!! Is really a standout!!! Do visit this place, it’s an underrated gem with delicious food and lovely people.
